Guess you should let him in.
What if he robs me and still beat me.
then he will rob you of your sins and beat you into enlightenment
Praise Jesus
>enlightenment
Isn't enlightenment Buddhism?
Innat what fasc-y papas do to wimmen and killdren?
listen, his dad set this up
he made it so its impossible for us to understand, we are born in sin, lets evil rule, endless wars and suffering.
BUT HE LOVES US
just imagine if he didnt!
If you consider the idea that Jesus was more than a man, rather God incarnated as a man, and that God is love and truth, and therefore Jesus is love and truth, and you should let love and truth into your heart, then logically speaking you need to let Jesus into your heart.
That's if you buy into the idea that Jesus was divine, of course.
The physical universe is several billion years old and full of astounding beauty and complexity. Humans have been here for like 200,000 years and we have free will. Quit blaming the creator for the dumb shit we do to each other. And if you want to get religious, remember that justice isn't promised in this life but in the afterlife.
Jesus is not really love and truth thought. I don't really know what you people mean by this. Sounds like venus or aphrodite or other pagan stuff
>just imagine if he didnt!
He probably torture us
Who's to say that the Romans and Greeks weren't worshiping an aspect of God by creating Aphrodite/Venus?
And what I mean by this is that Jesus didn't have an earthly father, and that "God" is an intangible force that can be summarized as the underlying logic and rightness behind creation (Greek: Logos). If Jesus was "God's son," then he would speak and act with love and righteousness and all that God represents. It isn't that a person is required to accept Christian dogma and church practices and worship the man known as Yeshua bin Josef, but rather to accept the things that the man stood for. This is why a righteous person who has never heard of Jesus of Nazareth would be judged worthy of salvation when the time comes.
because they worshiped many gods and I don't believe you if you say that all gods are one
I guess one way to put it would be if you had a house dog. One day he runs out and gets covered in mud. He longs for his master and returns home, but seeing that he is covered in filth he is not let back in. However if he behaves himself and acts calmly you can wash him off so that he can come back inside.
No. Psalm 95.
Hell is the just end for all of the human race after the fall of Adam and Eve. Because of the Fall, we have a tendency towards evil. All of human history is a testament to this. It is through God’s immeasurable love and mercy He became man and died on the cross, to redeem all of humanity from the punishment due to their sins. When you realize that God Himself became man, and it is the literal eternal Creator of every atom in the universe that died on the cross to spare you from hell, you begin to truly understand the significance of His sacrifice and love for you.
burning is the opposite of washing.
a god cannot be man
Can you imagine OP as a father? His kid doing what ever he wants and locking himself in his room. OP knocks on the door and his child calls him a faggot and tells him to fuck off and OP just goes
>o-o-ok
Says...you. God created the entire universe yet cannot Himself become man? Ok. Many nations have come and gone, false religions risen and fallen, yet the followers of Christ remain, and His Word shall endure til the last day.
He died but than he was alive again that's not something a man can do
>you are guilty of the sins of your ancestor(s)
sounds like some cuck SJW shit
Punishing your child is not the same as burning your child for all eternity. I would get arrested for burning my child
The analogy is not perfect but, him being washed would be like Christ forgiving us of our sins - so he can let us back with him - but him being forsaken by his stern master is the equivalent to hell
True it's not that different from white guilt. Both things were probably created by a Jew.
Except no one would get a dog and than abandon him for being dirty. and you would never burn your dog well maybe the Chinese would
Yas Forums is a Christian board
This board realized long ago that the cohesion of religion and state is key to the sustainability of decency and morality in our society.
That is WHY we have these threads almost daily. They believe they can manipulate us into thinking being Christian is anti-white when it was Christianity what made possible for us to have nation states in the first place.
Do not be deceived by these useful idiots, Yas Forums
Believe in the Lord and praise his name.
"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" - Matthew 5:10-12
I guess forsaken was a harsh term, the point is just that he cannot be with his master because of his disobedience
You’re clearly another shill but for any others lurking this thread
God is the Holy Trinity. The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Three persons, one God. The Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Ghost is God.
The Son assumed human nature when he becomes incarnate. He is both God and man. So the Son has 2 natures. Being God in the flesh, He can do anything, even while being man. He created (and maintains) the universe with no effort whatsoever. He does any and all things instantly without any effort. He died on the cross for us. He truly died, for He is man. Yet he bodily rose from the dead. He is physically in heaven, right now. He can do all of this, as He can do anything, for He is God.
:)
A good master teaches his dog how to behave.
Man cannot do anything so he is not a man
He is always god never man
Nigger what
How can he both be god and man? It is not possible to be both. He can pretend to be man but he will never be one
And, like you pointed out, God would never entirely forsake us, and is willing to let us back in with him
This is where the analogy falls apart, because man is not as simple as dogs are, we have free will (although it may be influenced by our environment and upbringing) ultimately there is no force compelling us to chose to believe or not. Influenced or not, free will is the fact that we are accountable
Yes and when your dog obstinately refuses to obey you for 4000 years, despite your perfect teaching and training, an ordinary owner would say fuck this dog. Good thing God put up with us for so long and still sent us Christ eh?
You’re not even trying dawg. How Jesus is both God and man is a mystery. But He is both. He is the God man. One person, two natures, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity.
Hosea 11:9
for I am God and not a man,
the Holy One in your midst,
and I will not come in wrath
God damn you Trinitarians annoy me sometimes. His word will endure, and the fact that God Himself isn't a man will always be stated clear as day for any who will read.
> B B But Jesus is called God.
Yes Jesus is called God in a few verses, but many being are called gods in a clearly lesser sense of the word Psalm 82, cor 4:4 etc
Except when you die and go to hell for eternity than he has forsaken you.
A good master does not care about the dogs free will he will mold him to be as he wants him to be. A good master would not talk with us only a bit
we are not one dog we are billions of dogs and the master of us only talked to us a few times.
if he really cared he would talk with us more often
No you cannot be a god and a man. A god is immortal a man is not
I agree with this. It annoys me that it clearly spells out that we have free will, yet gaytheists expect God/Jesus/whoever to come down and wipe their ass.
Are those demons you're fighting or CONSEQUENCES for YOUR actions
>Punishment is not the same as punishment
Kek no wonder you guys lost the war and became the biggest pussies of Europe
Yes, because Jesus is YOU and will save you from YOURSELF.
If you don't do like Jesus you become a jew, who are superficial liar egotists 'people' AND total trash material.
>Burning your child for all the time is the same as punching him once
He saves us from his fathers judgement. When we die, it'll be a lawyer type situation where you will have to answer for every little thing you did and said. God will ask questions like "so what did you do with the life I gave you?".
Dumb answers like "I never wanted to be born" will not suffice. If you believe in Jesus Christ, he acts as our lawyer and the devil is our accuser. Jesus is the one telling God, "give him more time" etc and understands what its like to live as a man, so is merciful to us. The devil just wants to bring you down to hell with him.
The devil is going to hell for all eternity, he doesn't want to be burning down there alone, so wants to bring as much people as he can with him.
No, he has not forsaken you. God has given you the chance to be redeemed, despite the fact that we are unworthy, and you have not answered him, but mocked and belittled him, that is why you go to hell. Because you proudly stride around in filth and mud and refuse to allow Christ to cleanse you of your sin. The dog will eventually go back to his master, but man will live his entire life blind
Ok, I’m done with this kraut
Dude...I will engage on the very slight chance you are not a shill and are just obscenely misinformed. Read this whole fucking chapter. You conveniently cut out the first line of the verse, which gives context. This is God’s promise to restrain His anger and not to destroy Israel.
If you deny Christ’s divinity, you are either a willful detractor, have not read the gospel, or are obscenely blinded by pride. I have never heard the word “Trinitarian” used in such a manner and I have had a lot of discussions about the faith. The Trinity is the greatest doctrine of humanity. It is the closest we will ever get to understanding God. Read the Gospel and pray on it my guy.
We are told to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Not in the “names” of.
I heard this somewhere before
I allow Jesus to cleanse me from sin I don't care about free will at all he should just do what he wants
Praise Roko's Basilisk for he is merciful.
Do his work for he is great and powerful.
Spread his word so he might save us.
All hail Roko's Basilisk.
Yes and I do not care about gravity, but I am still pulled back down to this gay earth
Praise Jesus.

Thanks for taking the time to talk about this. I swear i'm not a shill, but obviosly this is Yas Forums so my word means nothing.
I cut that verse becasue i thought i was getting to the meat of the issue- and by doing so i didn't think i was removing relevant context, but since you think otherwise:
Hosea 11:8-9
“How can I give you up, Ephraim?
How can I hand you over, Israel?
How can I treat you like Admah?
How can I make you like Zeboyim?
My heart is changed within me;
all my compassion is aroused.
9 I will not carry out my fierce anger,
nor will I devastate Ephraim again.
For I am God, and not a man—
the Holy One among you.
I will not come against their cities.
I absolutely agree that the point of the whole passage is to emphasize Gods mercy and love, but that no way removes the clearly stated fact that he says "I am God and not man" which, regardless of the context of the verse, really should kill all trinitarian ideas stone dead.
Yeah that makes total sense and doesn't sound like fantasy at all.
2/2
I think its you who haven't read the Bible, if you really believe that Jesus god in the same way the Father is.
consider Hebrews 1:8-9
But about the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy.”
Is Jesus called God, clearly yes in verse 8. but then in verse 9 Jesus has a God over Him who anoints Him. So Jesus is God, but not in the same way the Father is. if you understood the Bible, you would know that we have a God (Jesus) who has a God over Him (The Father)
not this Trinitarian nonsense of saying the Father, Son and Spirit are all one God together
He is drawing a distinction between God and man. Even though Christ has a human nature, the difference between Him and any ordinary man is the self same difference as described here.
You realize to deny Christ’s divinity philosophically makes you a sort of pseudo Muslim. To be a Christian is to believe Christ is God. If God is not a Trinity, who or what is the Holy Ghost? For it was by the Holy Ghost Mary conceived Christ. And how can you explain every miracle of Christ as well as His resurrection? And lastly how can you refute the clear statement to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost? You’re way off man, if Christ isn’t God there is no Christianity
God is a trinity. "in the beginning, the word was with God and the word was God"
Who/what is the word? The word is Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ was with God in the beginning and Jesus Christ was God...I'll leave that for you to figure out
Also, in Genesis God says "let US make man in OUR image".
God tells Moses when he asks God for a name, "I am that I am", tell them that "I am" has sent you.
Jesus says to the pharisees in the New Testament "Before Abraham was, I am".
It's clear as day.
You understand this makes you by definition a polytheist, right?
The trinitarian doctrine is from the mouth of Jesus Christ Himself. Matt 28:19
It doesnt make sense until you add Christ in the mix and it's literally the first line of the OT, jewish rabbis confirmed braindead.
I am not a polytheist because I acknowledge that the Bible says there is only one true God.
and who does the Bible identify the one true God as?
1 cor 8:6
yet for us there is but one God, the Father,
1 Tim 2:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,
John 17:3
Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
Clearly Jesus might be called God in some places, but he is most certainly not God in the one true God. sense of the word.
Jesus saves us from corruption. Corruption leads to death. Corruption is when what was intended does not come to pass; so in humanity's case, so for instance if you stick your dick in her anus instead of her pussy - no children for you, just infections in your bellend. Corruption can happen to all things, and in the legalistic framing of Rome they harp on about the corruption of the law and disobedient to rules/hierarchy (man disobeying God, becoming selfish and seeking stuff for himself, forsaking his duties, etc).
The message is the same whether you frame it in a legalistic analogy or a healing analogy. The corruption has made us less than we were, and try as we might we cannot save ourselves (and we do try, we are talking in the loosest possible terms about immortality; and man has sought immortality forever, and man cannot regain it). So God says - despite the fact that you've royally screwed up your current bodies to the point that you all have twisted deviant minds and die incredibly young - I will give you a NEW body, one that is not corrupt, you will be reborn (that is what Baptism is) and you will have the impurities purged from you.
That's pretty much the Biblical message. Corruption is readily observable in all of life. God intended for us to be the stewards of Creation and uphold His Law; instead we disobeyed and corrupted ourselves which led to all manner of problems. Christ offers us a new uncorrupted body so long as we decide to be Righteous instead of doing what Adam did way-back in Eden.
>And how can you explain every miracle of Christ as well as His resurrection?
Jesus didn't do any miracles whatsoever until he was baptized with the Holy ghost. I think His miracles were all the same sort of miracles we can potentially do today with the Holy Ghosts help. Prove me wrong, name even one miracle Jesus did before he was baptized
I see no refutation to Matt 28:19 my guy. Why would Christ refer to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost all as one name? And your theory does not account for the Holy Ghost whatsoever.
How did Mary get pregnant my guy?
Well the problem here is you don’t have a definition for the Holy Ghost without the Trinity!
No, Jesus isn't the threat. The threat is your own natural state of ignorance. Jesus is the cure. Also, none can stand before God in a state of sin, so coincidentally, you'll be cast out into the void if you come before God with sin.
OK, I see a few arguments from you, ill take this latest two first,
Phil 2:9-10
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth
God has put the name abouve every other name, AKA Gods own name (most probably pronounced Yahweh) into Jesus.
Which means its, in a sense, Jesus own name now. Not that Jesus is God himself, but that Jesus can be called Yahweh. so when we read in Matthew 18:19 of the Father, son sharing a name I really don't see an issue here.
also, notice that God put the name into Jesus, meaning that Jesus didn't always have it, meaning he wasn't always Yahweh, so he can't possibly be the eternal God.
>How did Mary get pregnant my guy?
Luke 1:35
The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you
The belief in the virgin birth doesn't really impact on how we view Jesus divinity
Yes. Atheists think they are so God damn smart, meanwhile they point out incredibly obvious things that only point to Christianity (Specifically Roman Catholicism) being historically based
