I’ve been stealing toilet paper from gas station and public park bathrooms all weekend. Got over 60 rolls and some soap.
At least you probably contracted the virus today so you didn't leave empty handed.
Texas here, Katy/houston area
I have noticed anything too crazy but my parents have said the panic buying is pretty bad near them. Not sure why everyone’s chimping out rn, doesn’t this thing only have a 2% lethality rate?
Wow, you have only noticed that hand sanitizer is gone now? Even in small rural areas in New Zealand you cant get that shit.
The walmart near me was out of all it's meds (tylenol/advil...) and the costco was out of toilet paper
Checked and scary D:
Its not just about the death rate. Its everything else.
>everything else
Like what?
Kansas City user here. Everything seems pretty much normal. I have made a couple runs to costco buying supplies and while I so see a handful of other people prepping nothing is crazy and nothing is sold out. Did see one guy in a full coverall dust suit and dust mask. Wasn't biohazard tier gear though. Was stuff meant for dusty work.
I will probably het more supplies tomorrow.
Economy shitting the bed, supply chain disrupted. Panic buying over this is retarded though, at least at this stage. Nothing points to a shutdown nearly that severe in magnitude.
Being sick and having to be in a hospital bed for days with breathing assistance sucks. A new virus to have an impact on the working population alongside influenza. Tons of people in the hospital at once = lack of resources. A long slow burn that helps the virus live longer and spread further. A virus that kills its host quickly cannot spread. Just read some of the latest scientific papers that have been coming out over the last couple of weeks.
Texas, stores still fine here. stop living in a shit state
One near me just restocked got 2 massive bottles of the 500mg tylonol and a ton of vitamin C and zinc
>3 weeks ago
Had to travel 2 hours to get mask in a remote town
>This week
Lysol wipes barely in stock
Hand sanitizer gone
Alcohol to make sanitizer gone
Toiletpaper nearly gone
Canned goods getting low
Thermometers hard to find
Just going to get worse no reported cases in this city and the panic buying already stated
Read this thread to find out
Just use your own urine and mix with any Aloe Vera knock off lotion. It can kill Corona.
Save your urine in bottles, the older it is the stronger it becomes, as Ammonia builds up.
Also drink your urine.
>i'm a nigger
yes.
Went to 3 supermarkets in Los Angeles today and all 3 were wiped out of:
Water
TP
Papertowels
Canned chicken
Aloe Vera
Hand sanitizer
Clorox Wipes
Rubbing alcohol
Cold flu medicine
We're also very low on:
Tuna
Spam
Canned soups
(Many) canned veggies and beans
Bagged nuts
Large bags of rice
It's beginning to look a lot like late-stage soviet union.
thanks for BTFO that coofer
who the fuck eats canned chicken? fucking degenerates
Its not bad. The canned shredded chicken is no different to the canned tuna. The flavored ones with mayonnaise are nice to top onto bread or into salads.

>poos try to rationalize shitting on everything

Surely, you aren't suggesting people on Yas Forums are making shit up about the Coronavirus are you?
>doesn't know about monolaurin
>plebbit spacing
You have to go back
Italy going into shutdown
Seattle going into shutdown
NYC on the verge of it
Buy now, bros, if you live in any major urban areas. You don't want to be fighting packs of people for a few cans of tuna one this shit hits full mass panic mode.
Literally heart of utah, things are out of stock on weekends, and just fine during the week. Costco and walmart limit purchses of water and toilet paper.
Most stores have everything, most distributors have everything still. And I purchase my water online with no issues.
It's actually really tasty. And the expiration date is like 3 years, so great for prepping.
Spray disinfectants (Lysol etc.) were completely sold out at my local Walgreens here in VT. And nearly everyone in line- both at Walgreens and later at the grocery store- had a multipack of toilet paper.
Funny, for years I've imagined what societal breakdown might look like, but I never once thought it would involve the nationwide hoarding of toilet paper. A fitting end to Clown World indeed.
Mississippi checking in. Hand sanitizer seems to be in short supply. Don’t go to Walmart for anything. I was able to find plenty of disinfectant wipes and other things at grocery stores.
BUY NOW. Don’t wait until a corona case is found in your state. People are panicking and rushing the stores in other states. You don’t want to get stuck without toilet paper.
yeas because washing your ass in the shower would never work
fug
Yeah, but I like TP and I’m not running out because retards rush the store in a dead panic. Picked up the usual big pack at SAMs a little early in case supplies run low in the upcoming weeks. I’m not a fan of the idea of running low in about a month and then not being able to find any.
Howdy neighbor? Katy here. Nothing really crazy here either. Most stores are just sold out of sanitizing wipes and hand soaps. HEB wasn't busy today at all. Noting else seems out of the ordinary.
Everyone might just be on Spring Break. The following week when everyone gets back will be exciting.
ABQ New Mexico here. I live in a shitty part of town I think the animals around me are too low IQ to care about a virus. At the local wallmart The N95's were the first things to run out but that wasn't until a week ago. There is plenty of TP. Some of the Bleach, lysol, and Dawn are gone. A lot of the meds are gone but you could still get all of this stuff up until a few days ago. Nobody cared until this week. The food sections look completely normal.
........ oh yeah all the Isopropyl alcohol disappeared like 3 weeks ago.
SC checking in.
OP here
I googled image searched empty shelves. Didn’t actually take photos. Just curios if the panic has started everywhere.
yeah sure
FL confirmed sold out on rubbing alcohol, disinfectant spray, nitrile gloves, and hand sanitizer
At least every Walmart, Publix, CVS pharmacy, 7-eleven in a 200 mile radius... all online stores sold out, eBay selling 32 oz bottles of rubbing alcohol for $38 a bottle when it’s normally $2.56 a bottle
This whole country is fucked thanks to idiots
You had plenty of warning to stock up. Two months of food here. After the quarantines happen I'll still be fat, but you'll be begging for food. I'm sure the National Guard might toss an MRE your way at some point.
No idea
Stocked up 6 weeks ago
Haven’t been out since
I’m good for another 3 months minimum
nice larp faggot
i live in el paso and just went to safeway not even an hour ago, Shelvs are fucking full.
fuck off.
Same. I mean I’m in Mississippi, so the instinct to always stockpile is fairly strong. I made sure we had some cold medicine, hand sanitizer, wipes, and toilet paper, and that’s about it. I’ve been picking up an extra can of this or that each normal trip to the store, just in case, but honestly what has been rather shocking to me is how little supplies your average person keeps on hand. Would most people starve if they couldn’t leave their house for a week???
mass hysteria confirmed
>dextromethorphan syrups sold out
Will do absolutely nothing against this virus you tards, it does nothing against any virus, it just gets you a little high so you don't notice the symptoms.
Anyways in my state (NY) we are still well stocked.
Retards buying hand sanitizer when they should be buying bleach, stocking up on eight years of toilet paper, lmfao
Q1 retail earnings are unironically going to be fucking massive because consumption just mooned thanks to panic buyers.
Most people wouldn't starve even if they had no food for a week. The consumption level is based on future expectations. People see lots of purchasing and think they might not be able to buy things they want in the future as it will already be sold out, so they go and buy the entire stock of whatever item they think is now scarce. And in doing so they create true scarcity.
Depends on your literacy rate. For fucks sake why would you hoard toilet paper? Just shows how many dumb fucks are out there. I have access to 2 bulldozers and I have 5 targets that I know are hoarding. I run low I bulldoze their home kill them all and steal their stuff. Not complicated
Weird. Everything is fully stocked in Seattle.
Thank you for proving OP's false story. The current situation is managed.
>Nintendo Employee here to take questions.
I got a 2 for 1 special on some nice NY strip steaks. I ate one last night with a baked potato, sauteed spinach, and sauteed mushrooms. It was delicious.
In Utah, half the Target stores are out of isopropyl alcohol
>this nigga never tried canned chicken
what a fucking non prepped plebian
I just went to the store and literally everything was stacked. Either this shit is disinfo or Americans are a bunch of pussies.
Califag here, costco & winco have had no apparent shortages. Looking in peoples carts show they are starting to stock up, lots of bottled water, toilet paper, and bulk/preserved foods in the carts. Local Walmart's have begun cutting their hours and have much less available on their shelves. When I last talked to my grandma she said she had to visit 3 different walmarts just to find a few bottles of the shitty flavored water she likes.
It currently has a global 2% confirmed lethality rate. In the USA, it is 5%.
A little simple math will explain why people are starting to panicking. Something like 10% of the infected need to be on a respirator. There are 5400 respirators in the USA. If every single one was dedicated only to corona virus patients, once 5,400,000 people are infected, our respirators will be overwhelmed. After that, the fatality rate jumps to 15%. Estimates are 70% of the usa population will be infected before this is over, or roughly 225,000,000 people.
This is one small example of how our medical system will be completely overwhelmed if this becomes a pandemic, which by all measures, is already occurring right now, every single facet of our society will be negatively impacted. Global economic collapse, a sudden halt of the many imports your nation doubtlessly needs, global powers attempting to take advantage of the chaos...This is the big one.
If you try that in my neighborhood, the dozers better have armored cabs.
I have been giving stern advice to people I know to NOT post to social media about their “corona wealth.” People are being so stupid, posting pictures of their piles of crap and bragging on social media. Things in my area are not how they were when Katrina hit. If there were an ACTUAL crisis today (in this case, a quarantine), all these morons are doing is showing people what homes to raid.
They do they are millitary grade oh oh!
Yeah you are right they are sitting ducks.
compare your stats to H1N1 and annual flu
distinguish between infection rate and mortality rate
get your stats from US CDC site, not MSM
focus on death count and survival rate
do you know what the key is to survival?
answer: access to medical treatment when you body temperature kicks up to near fever level
now compare mortality rates in countries with modern healthcare systems to those that are shitholes
>he doesn't know about IDs
Just in America. Here TP is fully available. The only things missing are liquid soap, wipes, lysol sprays and rubbing alcohol. Meds and canned goods in normal levels.
Katy/Houston here. Yeah pretty much this. Business as usual. I'm losing faith in the happening.
The only idiot is the one that is not prepared in advance, son.
