They've been pozzing series for years now but only recently have they caught on and realized how badly they were losing money just slamming people over the head with it, so ofc we saw none of that in CV season one. I predicted they would start doing this shit after they had normal audiences hooked instead and dropped it anyway even though I liked season one.
I assume the girl in Stranger Things is a woke lesbian or FTM by now, and one of the guy's childhood friends is gay for one or another of them even though I haven't kept up at all since season 2.
