i had to have an intervention with my mom because she was essentially hoarding old food containers. half of the cabinets in her kitchen were full of mason and jelly jars and those reusable tupperwares you get from deli meat.

I do, but not for those reasons, it's just convenient.

I dont keep every jar I come across but I have a cupboard with a fair few of them on hand they always come in handy not just for food but in the workshop I have all sorts of parts stored in them so I never lose or waste. Not so much for saving the planet just because it’s convenient.
