Repostan from ded bred

Guys give it to me straight and redpill me on Assad. Is he truly the despicable tyrant the media portray him to be?

>Is he truly the despicable tyrant the media portray him to be?
I've been to Syria before the War in 2010 give or take and it was a pretty chill place we had lots of fun but then again maybe I was too young to get a proper sense how life in the street is like

>The core of the issue is American policy. At a point in time, the United States decided that secular governments in the region were no longer able to implement the plans and roles designated to them; of course, I am referring to the countries which were allies of the United States and not those like Syria which are not. They decided to replace these regimes with Muslim Brotherhood regimes that use religion to lead the public.

(1/2)

>Syrian Kurds worry IS camp could riot as Turkey weaponizes water

>The dispute has taken a dangerous twist as Turkey and Russia face off in the northwestern province of Idlib.

>Since last month the US-backed Kurdish government has accused Turkey of cutting off water provided by the Alok pumping station in the Turkish-occupied town of Ras al-Ain to the Hasakah region where al-Hol is located

>“Service delivery and security are intertwined and there is a lot of concern that sustained water shortages could spark off protests in al-Hol, where the security situation is fragile,”

>Defusing the crisis has become a priority for the United States and the UN’s Office for the Coordination for Humanitarian Affairs

>Alok was badly damaged during Turkey’s October invasion of Ras al-Ain and neighboring Tell Abyad.

>A technical team from the Syrian government responsible for maintaining the facility has been repeatedly denied access to it, most recently on March 3

>The water supply remains dangerously erratic, with Turkey accused of deliberately sealing the spigot for political leverage.

>He said Turkey stopped the flow because it was demanding that the Kurdish-led administration provide 25 megawatts of electricity per hour from its own sources to Ras al-Ain in exchange for the water

>Rustem said the original agreement mediated by Russia with Turkey was for the administration to provide 5 megawatts per hour.

>“Water should not be used as a bargaining chip. This is dirty and unethical. As a matter of humanity we will provide electricity, but Turkey should fix the lines they destroyed themselves,” he said.

(2/2)

>The Mabrouka power station that serviced Ras al-Ain was knocked out during the fighting in October, leaving Turkey dependent on the Kurds for electricity "and Turkey hates that,"

>The water flow resumed today, Sozda Ahmad, an official with the autonomous administration, told Al-Monitor via the Rojava Information Center. But she remained skeptical that it would continue.

>“We only know that the technicians at Alok have turned on the water [but] it may be shut off at any moment,” she said,

>Now that Turkey occupies the large swath of land between Tell Abyad and Ras al-Ain it needs to provide services.

>“They aren’t going to bring electricity from Turkey and the networks are all linked to other parts of northeastern Syria that they don’t have control over,”

>“It’s quite easy for the Kurdish-run administration, who sees Turkey as the enemy — and doesn’t want Turkey to legitimize their occupation and to establish themselves as a state in control of the area — to say, ‘No, we are not going to help you provide electricity and make everyone think you are this functional administration,’ so they’ve blocked that.”

> “I think Turkey has clearly been facing discontent from the populations in the areas that it's controlling and it’s taken this really drastic measure and said, ‘OK, we are going to shut off the water if you don’t give us access to the electricity.’”

>The United States, which has around 700 forces deployed in northeastern Syria, has been drawn into the row.

>“The Americans have tried to negotiate with Turkey, telling them that ‘You as a NATO ally should turn it back on,’ and Turkey has said, ‘You need to tell the Kurds to give us electricity.’”

Come EU,US and Russia, come have a look at what is going on in Syria. Turkey's invasion into N.Syria wasn't to dump refugees in the "safe zone".

Their plan is to build more military bases then free the ISIS fighters in the Kurdish areas and bring back ISIS so Turkey can steal Syria's oil.

Turkey agreed to recieve 5 mega Watts per hour from PKK few months ago. But now after they built more military bases for their ISIS/Al-Qaeda fighters, they want MORE electricity.

And they don't wanna pay for it, they want to steal Syria's electricity to wage a war and steal Syria's oil.

Is this why NATO allowed Turkey to setup "safe zone"? Is this your civilized NATO ally?

cute

i have no idea, im not a /wm/ person

Attached: aeIgI6mSJ1.jpg (1244x929, 791.43K)

>they want to steal Syria's electricity to wage a war and steal Syria's oil.
Meanwhile USA controls more than half of Syrian oil and Russia probably provide military support in deal with half century oil deal.

Non of Turkish controlled region has oil... You fucking PKK scum chip out for 25 megawatt electric:D Fucking tribal people should never been provided a land to control.

>They are like this because they hide behind EU/NATO.
EU/NATO didnt even provide air security system. They didnt even provide drones when Turkey wanted to buy. Then Turkey develop its own drones. "HURR DURR HIDE BEHIND NATO/EU" is just your COPE argument when you have no enough power to deal with Turkey.

So.. We are like this.. BECAUSE :
We have millions of refugee... more than whole EU combined.
We are like this because PKK is a terror organisation that is recognized by whole World, they are active in Turkey more than half century. Aaaand guess what? PKK HIDE BEHIND USA, Russia and Assad.

Which one of you was this?

OF COURSE

Kek

I will proceed with my thankless but important mission to educate /sg/ about the greatness of Turkish tomatoes.

freshplaza.com/article/9091205/the-world-can-t-get-enough-of-turkish-tomatoes/

>Muslum Yanmaz, head of the association said: "We export mainly to Russia and also to Romania, Bulgaria, Germany and Switzerland. The world can't get enough of Turkish tomatoes."

>Russia is our major market. 62% of Turkey's overall fresh produce exports are destined to Russia.

As you can see, Recep Tomat Erdogan is on his way to become the leader of greatest Sultomate in history. Can anyone hope to stop him? (no)

the other argie

I can confirm, premium motherfuckers.

"Terrorist are not included in the ceasfire and new deal with Russia and Turkey"

So whats the fucking deal?

The terrorist south of M4 highway will be boooombed back to stone age and will not be protected by Turkey?
Its easier for Turkey to allow this than to try to tell them to retreat, or what?

Give me a Basic Gestalt on the new agreement?

Attached: Pepe Syria.png (945x768, 445.61K)

>The terrorist south of M4 highway will be boooombed back to stone age and will not be protected by Turkey?
Yes if they do not retreat north of M4 corridor. Holding to the south of it was pretty much made untenable for them by the agreement, but they are a retarded bunch and might try.

>Its easier for Turkey to allow this than to try to tell them to retreat, or what?
Turkey might be unable or unwilling to do this, as we have seen before, when they have failed to deliver on their part of Sochi agreement and separate “moderates” from the radicals.

>Give me a Basic Gestalt on the new agreement?
1) Assad keeps his recent gains.
2) Cease-fire is implemented.
3) M4 will be open for transportation, a 12km safety corridor will be formed around it. Russo-Turkish patrols will begin on the highway within a few days.
4) Erdogan made wear cockroach costume for three weeks for all public meetings.
5) Russia agrees to raise quota for imports of Turkish tomatoes by 50k tons, bringing it to the total of 250k tons per year.

>Erdogan made wear cockroach costume for three weeks for all public meetings.
Kek.

>new su 25
Is there a new version?

/sg/ is ded

Kek.

Lol, why would Chocolate Piggo block you?

How long will this war continue?
Obviously most people support Russia in this conflict.

Can the terrorist be inside the safety corridor around M4 highway, or should they be outside if/north of it?
This would mean all the way up to 6 km north of M4 highway it would be clear of terrorists?

outside of it*

Attached: BuryIraq.jpg (1587x1600, 369.66K)

>How long will this war continue?
Depends on many factors, could be over within a year, could last for several more. There are simply too many moving parts, interested parties and random elements to make a prediction. Could be even frozen forever if we are particularly “lucky”.

>Obviously most people support Russia in this conflict.
Within Syria? Sure.
On the international arena? I wouldn’t be so sure. Europe is completely dancing to America’s tune, Middle Eastern players all have their own agendas and most of the rest of the world doesn’t care much either way.

>Can the terrorist be inside the safety corridor around M4 highway, or should they be outside if/north of it?
I mean, they will certainly try. Will they be successful? Dunno.

>This would mean all the way up to 6 km north of M4 highway it would be clear of terrorists?
Ideally, yeah. But I don’t hold my breath.

Nice pic

What no I meant you're a nigger

>Obviously most people support Russia in this conflict.
Maybe I was unclear, I mean civilians for the most part support Russia in this conflict.
At least after some years of wars.
People in America and Europe are tired of endless occupation and wars.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation announced that Russian trade missions in the Baltic countries are shutting down. The reason for this step is not even hidden. Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have too bad relations at the political level to stimulate them in the economic sphere.

>huge anime tits
Well because of this picture I'm now re-watching MFG-Gundam. Neat-o.

That's great, user!

Well, Baltic states lost all we could be interested in economically over the past 30 years, and now that we don’t need their ports either, I think it is a reasonable move.
Also, now that the EU gibs to them are about to stop, I will follow their economic politics with reasonable degree of interest.

Morning /sg. I think the day of prophecy has come and we ran out of events (and gains). Time to take a break I guess.

Its gonna take generations for Baltic people to understand that the post-soviet-Russia is not trying to hurt them, but only want to make business with them.
This constant endless hate on Russia in media will people sooner or later understand is all lies, but its gonna take long time.
When we in the future will look back on the years 2000-2030 people will see Russia did not invade or suppress anyone.

In Scandinavia people still consider Baltics to be part of Russia basically. Someone said "Im going to Riga for vacation". There are these cruise ships going to Latvia from Stockholm and then back after 48 hours.

And people still say "aah nice, Riga, thats basically Russia right?".

Good Morning Belarus

Welcome to the thread Southern Balkans, hows your day so far? Did you have Cevapcici with Ajvar and Rakija yet?

No idea, Turkey promised to do this, not me. I can’t even blame them for failing, since “moderates” have been non-existent in SCW since around 2014, at least as any sort of coherent force.
