Why...?
People who want to be perceived as reasonable, curious and willing to learn in this day and age will ask the question "why?" Do not be fooled by this underhanded tactic. They don't actually want to find out the truth, hear other perspectives or understand the actual motives behind certain decisions, because if they did, their sincere interest would compel them to investigate honestly, without asking others to give their own opinions on the matter. They would access the most unlimited resource for information gathering that the world has ever known: the internet. They choose to remain ignorant because only through their ignorance can they maintain a sanctimonious position which is clearly bolstered and illuminated by asking 'why' in a tone that implies an incomprehensibility surrounding the thing in question. These fake concerned citizens do not care, they just want to appear disconcerted to give off the impression that they are upstanding and moral people. Next time somebody asks "why," just remember that if they actually want to know, their time would be spent not asking random and equally unenlightened people, but reading relevant books and other materials. If people really wanted to know something about someone, they wouldn't ask a 3rd party, they would go directly to the person themselves.

I did. And I disagree with you.
