I found a treasure in RDR2 and I sold the gold for 1500 dollars
>1500 pieces of paper
Is Argentina white, Yas Forums?
Yes.
Is the united states? Is Australia? Is there a white nation left on Earth? Faggot
I'm sure heavy shiny rocks will do you wonders in the apocalypse.
I believe the best currency nowadays would be a basket of assets. I think you could have competing currencies each with their own basket
h
reeeeeeeeeee
shut up nigger, go play on twitter you fucking monkey
I heard cum rags were going to be the currency of the future.
>newfag here
argiebros are protecting the purest strains of whiteness in secret since long ago
Gold is money, the dollar is currency. If we still had a gold standard niggers wouldn’t need welfare because prices wouldn’t be as high as they are now. Bernie supporters are exactly correct about income inequality they just have no idea how it is happening and it’s because we don’t have sound money and all our savings are being stolen through inflation.
“In the absence of a gold standard there is no way to protect savings from confiscation through inflation - there is no safe store of value.” - Alan Greenspan (1966)
you think the best form of currency is a basket? god save us wtf
You idiots don’t even understand the primary function of money which is to measure value for goods exchanged for it. Money is a barometer that measures value. And nothing measures value better than gold.
In 1920 a good weekly salary was 20$. 1/oz of gold equaled 20$. If you busted your ass for a week back then and held that 20$ in your pocket for 100 years you can’t even buy 3 Taco Bell value meals but that gold ounce is still worth a good weekly salary at 1,600
this. Rick Rule said the best way to value gold (other than the dollar) is by how much labor you can exchange for it.
At the current 1,600 = its about $40 an hour a week

So I take it we are going to devalue the dollar to $13, 633 per oz of Gold and go back on the Gold Standard?
That's what we would have to do to Monetize as of this typing.
>worshipping Jewish trinkets
Because we live in a pre-industrialised world with an illiterate population and still manage to distribute bullion to every citizen and business for such use.

An overnight gold revaluation to anywhere between 15k and 100k per ounce is what needs to happen to purge all the debt from the system.
You only need like 10 ounces of gold and that will be a Kings ransoms after a reset/deflationary collapse. 10 ounces at say 20k per ounce means you have 200k... big deal that seems like nothing. Wrong, because that 200k in gold will be like having 200k in 1950 or 1970 or whatever
Gold is the money of kings; silver is the money of gentlemen; barter is the money of peasants; but debt is the money of slaves
True, the only time I can think of fair currency working was in the 3rd Reich, mainly because
>the reichmark was already inflated af
>the German population was very industrious at the time so a labor based currency was reliable
Then again, they were a 99 percent white country, so it's hard to imagine their experiment being successfully replicated in this day and age.
And yes.... peoples purchasing power will have to be majorly devalued. So your 100k in the bank loses 75-90% of its current purchasing power
My sovereign citizen uncle gave me a long-winded rant about how silver and gold are the only Constitutional currencies, and how if you don't carry silver on you, you're legally in debt bondage. None of it made any sense to me but I nodded along anyway.
Its takes a star to die to get that gold. So by that standards its rare, also its more rare to find that most other materials from the stars. Waspjews try to steal and grab most of it which is also why its rare
It's not, Rothschilds control Gold.
They have tons and tons and tons of it.
It's an OK solution than the one we have currently though, until some other material is used.
Gold is so ugly
Silver and platinum are way more aesthetic
*fiat currency. Tbh it's pretty fair compared to the jew paper we carry nowadays senpai
Gold and especially silver are so undervalued. Silver is the most undervalued asset on planet earth. Every ounce of silver you buy for 20$ right now means you are locking up 2 weeks worth of wages post collapse. A silver piece the size of a silver dime used to be a days wage for most of human history. And is still true today in much of the world. When American hear of some gook rice paddy farmer making 2$/day they are like wtf? But that 2$ will purchase you a silver dime. Some asshole selling insurance making 300$/day is making the equivalent of 15 ounces of silver a day if he converted it to silver. This flies in the face of all historical sane economic reality and is only possible due to massive inflation.
14 silver dimes equals 1 ounce of silver. 1 ounce of silver will be worth at least 2 weeks worth of wages post collapse and probably 2-3x that because there is less silver available now and billions more people on the planet.
So as little as 500 ounces of silver will be worth 20 years of days wages post collapse
>Gold and especially silver are so undervalued
I'm sure vendors would be more than happy to let you pay more for it.
Hell, I have a bunch you can buy at triple the market rates if that'd please you.
When you buy gold and silver you aren’t actually buying anything. You are just transferring your wealth from worthless paper to real savings and a real asset and store of value.
The dollar value of gold and silver means nothing.
the collapse is being fended off by magical money printing machines
What is gold worth right now?
Pretty awesome.
Fiat money is indeed a derivative commodity of debt.
It's the best medium of exchange because it's trustless (can be easily verified by weighing) it's fungible and choppable and last but not least, rare.
This all applied to the middle ages, since then and up until now paper certificates have been referred to as Gold, those paper certificate are not trustless and not fungible.
It means how much shit you can buy with it. Obviously. And that's why you have to turn bullion into real money if you want to purchase things.
I work at a nursing home. I'm around dementia patients all day. Joe Biden is showing classic early signs of dementia.
Gold loses hard to the market over the long term. I think since the early 1900s the gold price has gone up by 1500%, but the market has gone up like 50,000%
Reminder that gold is properly considered to be a HEDGE, and you would be completely insane to make long term investments in a non-performing asset like Gold
the market has only existed for a fucking blip on the human time scale. You are literally retarded to not have any gold.
>what is volatility
Do you want your money out there building cars, building machinery, doing work in the market? Or do you want your money sitting inert in a non-performing asset?
Not like we're going to regress to the bronze age, though. You can't unring the bell of technology and knowledge.
We're one half-large volcanic eruption away from losing a years worth of global crops, and a few billion people along the way. We're one little cosmic ray away from losing the internet and computers for a year or ten, the list goes on endlessly. You think a copy of wikipedia is graved in stone?
God that was such a good fucking game.
Not stone, but plenty in paper. We had industry before electricity. So even if War of the Worlds (2005) or Revolution (2012) happen, we'll still have plenty to go on so nothing stays down for too long.
Its a well maintained pussy.
i can't tell if aussies are naive or optimistic
Realistic. Which can be hard for chronic pessimists to understand.
If gold was so valuable, then why don't the advertisers who shill it just buy a shit load of it themselves?
I read this as "I owned a treasure of an R2D2 and I sold this gold for $1500"
>If gold was so valuable, then why don't the advertisers who shill it just buy a shit load of it themselves?
central banks bought gold in record amounts in the last year
>valuable
yes
>liquid
no
that's what the advertisers are advertising, that they buy it from you.
