WE HAVE TO KEEP IT POLITICAL SO WE DON’T GET 404’d.

Jesus Christ (The son of man, God in the flesh) despises the degeneracy that we see all around us, as well as (((their))) works.

Below are some interesting social aspects to Christianity:
>God calls cross dressing and sodomy abominations
>God describes Homosexuality as an act of Rebellion against him.
>He created women to be in submission to their husbands in marriage
>God is against premarital sex. However, upon marriage it is the woman’s job to satisfy the man and the man’s job to satisfy the woman.
>God is against gluttony, and apathy.
>God over all things sees the Jews of today as prideful, sinful, and against himself (for they do not follow him. Therefore they follow the devil)
>However, he loved the world so much that he came down from heaven and walked among us. He is who we refer to as Jesus Christ, the one true living God. So that he might fulfill the law and pay for our sins, so that those who accept him as their savior will have eternal life

So which one is correct?

good post

Read the Bible and find out
Ephesians 2:8-9
8. for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9. not of works, that no one would boast.

The words under the protestant image, they're what this video and the Bible itself teaches

However the Lutheran Church (the one founded my Martin Luther, the man in the Protestant image) is majorly corrupted, they've even denied Martin's [ultra based] outlook on the jews.

James 2:14-26 New King James Version (NKJV)
Faith Without Works Is Dead
14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without [a]your works, and I will show you my faith by [b]my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is [c]dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made [d]perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was [e]accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

What about this?

James 2:14-26

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Its all explained here, my friend:

There are way to many churches

Are you implying that James 2 contradicts Ephesians 2?

That's a nice video, do you have the one where he says don't have to be baptized to enter into Heaven, even though Jesus explicitly told Nicodemus that "unless a man be born of the water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God"?

Thank you, my Brother

This is now a thread about Bible verses which PROMISE salvation on faith alone:

Genesis 15:6: “And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.”

John 3:5-7

5. Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and Spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom. 6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7. Don’t marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born anew.’

It's a parallelism. Flesh is water birth. Being born anew is spiritual, not physical baptism.
Also see the thief on the cross.

It gets a lot easier once you accept that 99% of them are (((corrupt))) and/or pander exclusively to the desires of the world and its degeneracy. Plus theres only ~6 large denominations...

Honestly the one Churches that are solid, from what I've seen, exist on the local/community level and are independent, or are home/family churches...

I don't remember which video but I've heard him say that before. Its not a contradiction tho, it is true.

>Unless a man be born of the water

Thats when we're physically born, the water breaking from the mother

>and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God

That's when we accept Jesus Christ as our savior and he bestows his Holy Spirit upon us.

Here are a few other helpful verses:

John 3:18: “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

John 3:36: “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

John 5:24: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

John 6:40: “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. “

John 6:47: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”

James has been the source of ire for prots since Luther called it an "epistle of straw". Since the book clearly talks about both salvation through faith + works and the use of confession, prots just prefer to act like it doesn't exist.

And yet we are also taught to follow His example, and He Himself was baptized. Are we, then, to not follow His example, if all we need is mere faith? Are we, then, to not do good works, as He did, if all we need is mere faith?

Moreover, what of the thief on the cross? Surely you have not forgotten the parable of the rich man. Neither he, nor the poor man, were in Hell nor Heaven. We know that the Jewish religion teaches of Gehenna, which is not the lake of everlasting fire. We know that the poor man had not yet received judgement to enter into the Kingdom of God. Can you not see that Paradise, a garden, isn't Heaven, but a momentary pause until Judgement Day?

Of course the thief could go to Paradise, but how could he enter Heaven if he did not perform His deeds?

>tfw no good churches in my city

You get baptized as a statement of faith and because he told us to, not because you think it saves you

>what of the thief on the cross?
He went to paradise without baptism

>James talks about salvation through faith + works
Sloppy job Miguel
James 2:17
Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.

The message is that faith, IF not manifesting works, is not saving faith

Ok so i went to confession recently confessed that i had anger and that i sullied my temple by viewing porn and violent games and gore shit and the worst one of all that i went through a phase of rejecting christ and looking into all the other faiths. My preist told me to read this prayer i csnt remember it right now it was written on the confessional. As soon as i said it i blacked out and woke up a few secs later on the floor of the confessional with my hands clasped in the prayer pose the priest was siting across from me smiling and said your ok God loves you. I felt this incredible warmth in my solar plexus and my entire body was radiant with the heat so much so that my wife could feel it coming off of me when i came out of the confessional. The thing is now i feel nothing when i see the sexual images that before would get me going. And the gore revolts me when i see it. Honestly guys i dont know what to think. I dont even really get horny around my wife like i used to. We arent officially married by catholic rite. Can someone help me out. I like that im no longer tempted by the smut but did i break my libido or is God telling me something. Im still attracted to my wife and we have an even stronger connection now but my dick doesnt get hard like it used to. :/ also started having wet dreams where we make love and ive been blowing massive loads in my sleep. Halp please.

you guys should install the bible app and have it send you daily verses to get you thru the day

Your posting style looks so much like a coomer's I assumed you were going to say daily nudes while reading this.

user, no one is saying that one shouldn't be baptized or do good works for the Lord. You should, baptism is a powerful symbol; good works the Lord will bless you for.

For your second paragraph, Judaism is a perversion of Christianity which was formed after Christ walked the Earth, the Talmud was written around 350ad. The concept of "gehenna" is not a Christian principle.

I know this feel

That was basically the feeling that I had when I accepted Christ as my savior. Normally Catholics are unsaved, but its possible that you accepted Christ as your savior completely in that moment; and as such he freed you from your sins, in spite of the church teaching works based salvation and other things. If that's the case, and you're now officially a child of his, expect chastisement from him if you keep going there, worshipping images and statues, etc. After I was saved I attended an Orthodox church, with all the problems that religion has, and God almost destroyed my life to push me away from it, so I could find a solid Bible-believing Church instead. It was a really rough time in my life but now that I see that place for what it was, I'm thankful for regularly.

Regardless, user, I'm not trying to be harsh, I'm really happy for you, just sharing my experience with being saved and going the the sister church of the catholics for a while.

Anyway, about your sexuality, congratulations on breaking that sin, its a brutal one. We must remember that sex was intended for procreation and marital intimacy. As long as you're going for these two things with your wife, I'd pray that you and her could enjoy eachother as God intended, and things should even out after a little while. It sounds like you were freed of a tremendous amount of mental damage, now you have to rebuild, but it will be okay, it will be better than okay, fren

I like that idea user. I try to read my Bible before work in the morning, so that I know that it gets done, and listen to some quality preaching as I'm working, for some of the day.

I use a free and open source app called andbible

It has several daily reading programs and you can use your device's text to speech to read it to you

where are you located bro?

> the second 1/2 of your comment

My point is this... In Romans 9:15 and Exodus 33:19 we are reminded that God will have mercy on who He chooses to have mercy.

In Romans 2:14, we are reminded that when the gentiles DO the things contained in the law, they become a law unto themselves.

And in Romans 4:3 and Genesis 15:6 we are reminded that Abraham's FAITH was counted as righteousness.

So it comes down to this...

If God wants to save someone based on faith alone, He can. If he wants to save someone based on works alone, He can. If he wants to save someone based on a combination of faith plus works, He can... and if he wants to save someone for no reason at all, that He can do too; because he is God and he will save who he saves.

Meanwhile, Catholics and Protestants spend hours arguing back and forth between faith and works, ignoring that BOTH are biblically valid; and that BOTH are normally present in the life of a Christian (that faith generates the desire to do good works and that the act of doing good works for the sake of salvation is its own form of faith).

There are far more meaningful conversations Christians of all denominations can have with each other rather than trying to throw stumbling blocks in front of each other.

No, they're mutually exclusive positions.

user, did you watch the video?

>WE HAVE TO KEEP IT POLITICAL SO WE DON’T GET 404’d.
not going to work. bb

I am familiar with that video. I have also watched this video, which shows why This "pastor" is theologically wrong, inconsistent in his own teaching (sometimes within the same sermon), and is openly preaching heresy.

youtube.com/watch?v=3lwwfCpvXnc

>God sees the Jews of today as...
How the fuck do you know what God thinks of the Jews? Deuteronomy is a book of the Old Testament, AKA the Torah. It was written before the Jews rejected Christ.

>Jews do not follow God, therefore they follow the devil
Jews essentially believe in the same God as Christians, they just don’t believe he has taken up a human form. The prophesied Messiah is supposed to completely and profoundly change the world, not just symbolically offer themselves up on a cross

How can I get physically healed by Jesus? Is it still possible?

Not until the resurrection

Adelaide, fren

>The prophesied Messiah is supposed to completely and profoundly change the world, not just symbolically offer themselves up on a cross
Ask how I know you’re a Jew.

pray and fast, if you go by jesus

I made it until the catholic "brother" started talking about how sodomites can be "converted", taking a verse from Corinthians out of context when its talking about something completely different, and then making a jump from the conclusion he took to state the aforementioned. Nope, I'm out

2/10 I clicked on it

Its a maybe. He does heal people in this age, but allows us to suffer the physical consequences for our sins on this earth, and of course, allows our bodies to deteriorate over time, as does everything in this world.

he did change the world. why else would jews give him a second glance?

he wont interfere with us reaping what we sow. most health issues are self inflicted

We dont worship statues or idols though. We worship the one true God. And why would Christ reject the one church he established on earth?

the better question is , why would the established church reject christ? its absurd. false idols, false doctrines, misguided interpretations, outright forgeries and lies. they are no better than the fake jews.

Yeah, thats what the Orthodox also say, or that they're worshipping God "through them". The church I used to go to was brazen enough to not deny that they were graven images, they told us if we were ever questioned to tell people that "they help us pray" lol

youtube.com/watch?v=TQUqZROH-ak

>Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Exodus 20:4

Where is Jesus? Where are [many of] the angels? They're in heaven above.

nice thread op

What do you mean?

>Jesus hates figs
the jews hate this one its like they know what it means and it makes them angry

It's Mary vs the sun demon.

you, sir, do not get it. the lame debunkers have you by the balls. first and foremost is that trinity false idol. then after that, the jew worship is off the charts. hasnt anyone even read the bible? Gutenberg was how long ago?

Where in the bible does it say sola scriptura?

will agree there. jews are satan, for real.

One lesson I learned while I was Orthodox, is that if a church does something which contradicts the Bible, that I was wrong to assume "there has to be more to it, than that"

Well, there isnt.

Such things are exactly what they appear to be.

Examples:

>Orthodox church teaches in their study bible that its okay to swear oaths today so long as we really mean it.

But the Bible says:

>Matthew 5:34-37 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

SWEAR NOT AT ALL

The Orthodox and Catholics both carry on about how its good to call their priests "father" because if we didnt actually call anyone on earth father, then it would have no meaning, and that so and so was this or that person's spiritual father in the bible, etc, etc.

But what does the Bible say?

>"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." Matthew 23:9

CALL NO MAN FATHER

What do you guys think of the "J" in Jesus Christ? I don't understand why it's not still Iesus, and Iews, and Iohn.

Greeks have the name Giannis, which is equivalent to John somehow. They pronounce it YAHN-ISS. Greeks also pronounce Ioudaios as YOO-DAY-OHSS. And Greeks, as well as other languages, pronounce Iesus as YESS-USS.

Why did we adopt this hard "juh" sound?

>Note: I reject the name Yashua, Yeshua, Yahashuwahasha, and all that.

Attached: iMarkup_20200227_033415.jpg (1920x2942, 3.9M)

it doesnt. jesus said to ask the father and he will fill you in. people dont even know who is in charge. they dont call jesus king of kings and lord of lords for nuthin

ah! a brother

I mean that the time of miraculous healings ended in the new testament. It's a position called cessationism, as opposed to charismatics who believe in the continuation of miracles.

There will be a physical resurrection from the dead in the end times, and glorified bodies will not have physical ailments. It doesn't happen until then.

your point could not be more meaningless.

Is that backed up biblically? what is your denom?

nope. jesus was just gettin started. there is no reward for unbelief, if thats what yorue getting at.

Daily reminder to go to mass

>first and foremost is that trinity false idol. then after that, the jew worship is off the charts. hasnt anyone even read the bible? Gutenberg was how long ago?

What are you even carrying on about?

I think all attempts to diminish from the name of Jesus Christ are direct attacks upon his power, because his name is the ONLY name we can call upon for eternal life.

Therefore (((people who hate him))) endlessly try to attack his very name, claiming that its supposed to be this, or that instead. In much the same way that they were attacking the fact that he died on the cross, and that it was really more like a vertical pole, which they claim because of various reasons.

Jesus Christ died on the cross for all of our sins. Anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to diminish or direct people away from this.

there is no denom. god doesnt deal with groups, just individuals.

I believe it because I believe it's what the Bible teaches
Here's a very short article
gotquestions.org/cessationism.html

Are any of you christians also Freemasons?

Why is there a J when that screenshot I posted of the 1611 has no J, and it is clearly an I in every other language's pronounciation of His name?

you cant attack jesus, he is already victorious.

trinitarianism is a false religion. christianity is a false religion and an antichrist.

this is what Jesus said the fig tree was israel it produced no fruit for him so he made it produce no more GOOD FRUITS from them they are The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the Lord hath indignation for ever.

But Jesus said that we will do greater things than He did on this earth. So why wouldn't we be able to heal and be healed physically like he had done?

well that figures. you dont know what youre talking about.

Wrong.
Jesus even states Chorazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum are going to be destroyed or “woe to them”

God deals with groups as much as individuals

well, the lord is merciful so wouldnt completely write them off but they certainly screwed the pooch 2000 years ago and got their asses handed to them in 70AD the fig tree was a symbol of that.
