Like I said the vast majority of Jews belong to one or two ethnic groups, which are both very similar to one another. A "race" is commonly thought to be a collection of closely related ethnic groups, and the Jews fit that definition. There's a reason why the Jews do not have a history of spreading their religion to non believers, unlike every other religion on the planet, as ancestry has always played a vital role in their culture. Endogamy eventually leads to a distinct genetic profile.
