Whether you believe in God or evolution, the reason you exist is to be fruitful and multiply. Having children should be seen as a fundamental right which should be defended by the government, like having healthcare, shelter, food, etc., whether or not you want the government directly intervening to provide those things, you should agree every human has an interest in those things, and the government should consider it part of its duty to its citizens to support them in attaining a family. Supporting families and supporting refugees are two unrelated issues. It's true that lots of young people say they don't want kids, but that's partly because kids are expensive. Also, people tend to change their minds as they get older. The Nazis did lots of things. They also wore pants. Does that mean we should stop wearing pants? The Nazis were not the only group to support mothers. Soviets did the same thing. Nordic countries do the same thing. Social welfare for parents is common worldwide. It's a way to help people attain their life goals. Just because you don't want kids doesn't mean other people don't.
