Milk in Canada is literally as close to raw as is sensible. There's no hormones or chemicals, it's just pasteurized. If you're desperate, just buy a dairy cow for home use and don't buy the dairy quota that goes along with it. The quota is the expensive part, you can buy dairy cows for under $2k each, and a milk separator is under $400 used. Dairy cows aren't super expensive to feed or house, especially if you live in southern Ontario or BC and can have them graze for a lot of the year.

Yes. The enzymes you need to properly digest milk are killed by pasteurization process. If you're sensitive to milk you probably still don't want to over do it, but I can do raw milk while store bought milk puts my gut in a knot for a day.
