I live in a suburb just outside of Memphis and it is the worst fucking time I've ever had in my goddamn life. I moved here for the cheap housing originally but I see now why it's so cheap. I'm selling my house once this corona bullshit passes. Fuck Memphis it is the worst city for a white man.

Thanks for the tip. We’re looking to resettle somewhere else. We currently own a house in the last Republican County in Western Washington and we can see the writing on the wall. We don’t want to raise our daughter in some leftist pedofriendly drug infested hellhole.

We don’t have anywhere specific decided on. We’ve never even been to TN but it’s on our shortlist of places we’d like to consider settling. I work from home so we have some more mobility than others might.

Nashville is like the new Austin, its getting filled with hipsters and shit. Anyways Tenn is a beautiful state, the rural parts take you back in time.

Fayetteville, my home town, is nice. About halfway between Huntsville AL, and Nashville.

Eastern TN is the furthest thing from flat, cant walk 20 feet without finding a tall hill

Nashville rent is insane in general now, and anything even moderately affordable is a complete shithole. Growing up in the 90's I lived in a massive two story house in Oak Hill, between David Lipscomb and (At the time) Glendale Middle. Rent was $1200 a month. The last place I lived in town before I left was a shitty apartment in Antioch that was $1100 a month.

10/10... You'd be better off in McMinn county (Athens). Growing but still traditional. Open prayer in a select few schools because fuck the gubmint, but all hold traditional values. Choice between small town and rural living at reasonable cost. Trannys are few and far between and keep to themselves. Crime is mostly DUIs and domestics, but do have the occasional soda bottle meth lab (t. was a cop there for years), still minimal. Fish at Tellico/Gee Creek for trout, Tellico lake or Watts Bar for bass, crappie, etc... All ~30min drive or less. Bradley county (Cleveland) is where all the white flight folks from Ooltewah/Chattanooga are moving. Growing too fast imo, moving slowly left, but will always be red.

I agree. I lived in East Tennessee for 3 years and loved it. Great gun laws, beautiful outdoors, people were very nice. At least visit East Tennessee once in your life if you appreciate the outdoors.
Surpring amount of Muslims though. Some meth issues in a few other towns but not much violence.
