You realize we have this thread every day right? No not yet. I'll be growing a garden for the second time this summer. I want to grow more tomatoes this time. Last year I grew too much kale and basil. Especially basil. I only needed one plant but I was drowning in the stuff. I need to switch out my soil. Im using a raised bed plot and the soil I bought last year was fucking kinda mulchy and ended up draining a lot of the water away from my plants I think. I still had a decent harvest but it caused me some problems.

Having raised both, chickens are a bit better for confinement, and ducks are a bit better for free ranging. They don't need a giant lake or anything, not necessarily, but they do like water and their shit is more watery than chicken shit, it's just different. Like the meat, I couldn't say one is better than another, but god, duck can be so delicious sometimes...
