Why are Millenials so "goofy"

It takes a few generations for a population to become fully infantilized. Millennials aren't the end of it, Gen Z there's a slight anti-millennial backlash but because they have no clue whats happening they'll get swept along as well, and the generation after Z...its going to be really gruesome. I think it probably "ends" after that one way or another

I feel it may have something to do with Millenials growing up in that weird middle ground between the analogue and digital age.

As kids, they still played outside and exercised their imagination. But they were also exposed to mass media aimed at kids via TV/Cable. This media formed many of their brains into a cartoon oriented, mushy hivemind.

Zoomers tend to be FAR more introverted and socially inept. I attribute this to their media being delivered via internet, much more personalized an generally isolating.

Honestly I think this is a result of a life too easy, but the other way around. Suicidal thoughts are generally a privilege granted to those who haven't had to survive. Of course there are exceptions, but I find this to generally be the case.

Those phrases millenials/redditors say all have (or had) an element of comedy to them. With the invention of the internet, comedy and in-jokes can develop at an extremely fast rate. They grow stale even faster. Much like an old joke. So dialogue and how people communicate with each other is constantly changing. Much faster than it was without the internet.

Most of them are very blackpilled. Its worse in worse performing euro countries economy wise. Iphones you buy are paid in multiple terms. Also they aren't expensive compared to a house or other stuff. Zoomers aren't building any capital anyway, the economy is pretty rigged against them. Economy was less rigged against boomers and gen x who could still profit from a lot of structures (esp social structures). For example in my country you could study for like 6 years if you were a gen Xer and you got paid a small amount of money to spend. Now, you have to pay 2k a year and need to get into debt to get by. So you end up with people who have debt and a median or below median paying job (zoomers / millenials) vs people who spend 6 years studying (2 years of party 4 years study) who have no debt and at least a 1.5x median income (boomers). So of course the boomers are faring much better it didn't even matter what the boomers did.

They also shave their arms and legs too these days, teens here did that in an experimental style back in '12 when I graduated, I think they still fucking do it and even wear makeup now from what I've seen, it's a weird ideation they have with femininity, they see a hot chick and instead of thinking about mating they want to BE the girl, it's like our culture has mystified the idea of women to the point where men would rather be the genki girl who laughs at everything than the muscular guy that forces his opponents into submission with a gaze, it's unnatural

Making social connections out in the open and learning to bond with your peers isn't exactly wasting time, you think children play football because they like kicking around balls? They play football because they get to bond with their groups, and some see it as an ambitious thing that they can professionalize later in their lives. The difference is that one gets you talking to real people and the other has you typing words at a screen at 4 am

It's actually very difficult for young people to jump start their careers at age 21 the way their parents did. Sometimes I think 9/11 had a lot to do with it. I don't think that many people had seen something that violent before while continuing to survive. War has happened before, but those who saw it usually died. Pearl Harbor happened but most heard about it before they ever saw the footage. Whereas with 9/11 everyone saw about 1000 people die all at the same time. And we're still all here.
