US Harvard chemist Charles Lieber led a group to develop a vaccine to deliver to China. The vaccine never made it. US president Trump and his inner circle had been left in the dark. In December, WB learned FBI were surveilling Lieber, cut ties with him, and directed China reps to immediately shutdown operations. Several individuals were exposed to the virus as a result, including Dr. Li Wenliang.
Minor correction. The WB planned to use it primarily to minimize financial risk, possibly to minimize casualties, were a catastrophic event to hit a critical economic zone detected early enough.

It looks like the islands act as a buffer and really slow the tsunami down but it still does damage. Seems that in this simulation Bellingham gets hit the hardest. It looked to me like all the San Juan islands do a lot to dilute the sheer power of the tsunami before it reaches mainland.
