A few years ago anons figured out how to embed sounds into images and you could hear the sounds using an extension. But embedding files into images is against the rules so moot banned them. This was updated so now sounds aren't embedded but still play.

If I'm reading this right the whitelist accepts exact matches and subdomains, so 1.catbox.moe would pass. However only the owner of the catbox.moe domain would be able to create subdomains, and a domain like catbox.moe.com wouldn't work.

Stupid question but, is it ok to overwrite your previous outdated host file if you have one? I have a host file already in my C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts on windows 7 which looks like its outdated, even older than the PC I'm using in fact. So was wondering if it was ok overwrite that one or merge everything from that site to the one I already have?
