Well, that's where the uniqueness comes from. It starts out as a pretty typical delinquent manga, nothing too special, until it switches into high gear and becomes a full on gang brutality story, while still keeping the delinquent identity there. Barely, but it's there.

God, early Nikaku looked even more uncanny. He still looks like a mutant later on, albeit much more, ''proportional'' I guess.
