Even the amateurs have to bust their asses off, big time.

Yea. I've realized Yuasa won't make anything worthwhile ever again.

Shirobako > Eizouken

It's too real.

Sad but true

As an animator, no it didnt. It's a fantasy show with beginner tips written in. If this changed how you see animation then great but you can get that anywhere. It must be the least accurate depiction of group dynamics and production I've ever seen.

I like Eizouken!
The girls are cute!!
Frog is the best!!!

Based

I don't think it was supposed to be about tips but
gets it at the core. Imagination and reality clash, it sheds some light on animation as a job but doesn't go to the extent of making it look like a nightmare, just that you have to be real about things and make compromises.

I missed you, Frogposter

I want to have sex with all of the girls at once

desu, no anime I've seen really did an accurate representation. Not even Shirobako did, try as it might.

Closest I can think of is Kirby, and that's by far the least realistic of the lot by nature of it being Kirby.

No, but it made me remember why I like animation in the first place. I didn't "grow up" or "get depressed" as Reddit likes to diagnose weariness with anime, but rather most anime happens to be half-assed garbage.

>It must be the least accurate depiction of group dynamics
There isn't a universal template for group dynamics. I've worked with dream teams, I've worked with nightmare teams. I've also had nightmare projects and dream projects with the same group of people.

However, I do agree that Eizoken isn't realistic, but considering the fantastical tone of the series, I don't think it's interested in being realistic. Eizoken wants to have fun with animation and in that it succeeds.

>May 2020
>already forgotten

nah

I love kanamoneys expressions

That would imply that he even made anything worthwhile to begin with.

It was basically this shit in anime form

u are dum dum stupid dumb

>Not appreciating the wonder in reality and the mundane
>Not dreaming up zany rube goldberg heat panels or a sci-fi microwave
>Has to wish for an enslaved pet lizard to unevenly burn their chicken
Escapism is a more fitting word.

How fucking new are you jesus christ.

>look at these people living their passion while i sit in my bed and eat chicken tendies
Yeah absolute garbage anime - the people praising it do not even realize why they like it - just what they like about it

>the people praising it do not even realize why they like it - just what they like about it
user are you having an aneurysm?

Kirby and Shirobako are more accurate, but Eizouken clearly has passion behind it and accuracy wasn't its primary goal as much as having fun while also going into detail about animation.

It made me understand a lot about how animation works in an industry much like Shirabako did and also how Bakuman taught me how the Manga industry works.

Ordinary people don't stare at the fucking oven.

No.

It certainly changed how I think about Yas Forums, and not in a good way.
