They made 4 other announcements today, all manga: >Kageki Shoujo!! The Curtain Rises >Days of Love at Seagull Villa >Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! Everyday Misadventures! >Manly Appetites: Minegishi Loves Otsu
bakapervert is dropping the translation as a result. Unless someone else picks it up we're not getting translations for the newest volumes for a long time.
Josiah Thomas
bakapervert already took his translation down. does somebody have a copy of his translations?
Robert Clark
Fuck. He was a speed demon equal to JS06. How did seven seas notice this when it does not even have an anime?
>Volume 6 coming out soon >This happens >The meth driven translations are now no more See you guys in 2021.
Colton Baker
Motherfucker. It's going to be years until we get the translations for the Marie route SS if we're stuck with official translations.
Andrew Mitchell
>How did seven seas notice this when it does not even have an anime?
One of their translators wanted to do it, apparently it’s one of her dream projects. She has a twitter fanbase and got them to submit it in the survey.
They average about 4-5 volumes a year.
Luis Gonzalez
There's always the manga I guess.
Luis Thompson
No God no.
Alexander Wilson
Fuck. Have to wait till 2022 at best. Mirror for old volumes?
Jayden Ortiz
I hate people with fanbases. But the fans are more stupid
Matthew Murphy
>her huh, I never would have thought that a woman would be such a fan of a work like this
Chase Russell
Yoshi translating the WN of Death Mage but will he drop it if the LN got pick up?
Jack Smith
Why?
Parker Fisher
I can't wait for the "Galge is tough for female mobs" isekai with a female protagonist unwillingly turning the setting into an otome game with lots of men around her. and the brother being a better character than her in everyway. or just unwillingly turn it into a yuri setting
Robert Wood
They already do "otome games are tough for female mobs", and they're functionally similar to regular ou tome stories
Aaron Sanders
user I know, I just want to shitpost
Justin Wilson
I don't really feel too bad. It went downhill fast after the first volume.
Ayden Thompson
>Will probably have to wait 2+ years for them to catch up to Volume 6 This blows.
Luke Howard
Son of a fucking bitch
Jayden Cruz
>Seven Seas will publish the series Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs (Light Novel) for the first time in North America in print and (early) on digital platforms in single volume editions. Volume 1 will be released in print on February 9, 2021 for $13.99 USA / $17.99 CAN. We have to wait a whole goddamn year just to get the first volume published. I hate shit getting licensed so much.
Adam Thomas
That sucks that this happened. I know moon so I can read it right when it comes out but I won't have anyone to discuss it with.
I could TL it but no way would I approach speeds people are used to. I've done manga before but an LN seems like a lot...
It has the same tropes as a generic harem sometimes. Leon becomes wishy-washy any time a thought that a girl might like him comes his mind which can become kind of annoying.
But every other volume when he's not interacting with his harem, you get vindictive Leon alongside his murderbot which is usually pretty entertaining. Him interacting with his also-reincarnated sister is also one of the best part of the series to the point the author wrote a spin-off where Leon gets with her instead.
The later sounds pretty interesting. A pity, the english light novel market rarely seems to get spinoffs/sidestories.
Daniel Allen
>Leon becomes wishy-washy any time a thought that a girl might like him comes his mind which can become kind of annoying. I prefer than being dense at least. I mean, i cant blame him as he is indeed a mob.

A few days ago I found a spanish version based on bp's translation. They were organized into neat pdfs and even translated the illustrations. Wish someone had done that with the english ver.
