One of the great reasons Beautiful Dreamer was so influential and effective was thanks to the humor behind it. The comedy was a great contrast and balance to the more serious and philosophical scenes.
If this is real, it would completely fail to recreate the original charm and magic the UY anime had back in the 80s, along with failing to understand the point behind Beautiful Dreamer.
