Why Justin Bieber is in this manga I don't know.

Ryuk ruined his life.

zoomer trash

I liked it.
Though I find including of Trump blatantly into the manga was very cringe.

>Gook Note
Pass.

Liked the character a lot. Pretty retarded way to die but it was a one shot after all, it had to end somehow without being a sequel bait.

What did you expect from a Shinigami?

Trump actually managed to find a way to survive and slightly benefit from a deadly no win scenario which is pretty based in my opinion, the kid did get screwed over though.

He's literally the president of the united states. Thats what hapoens when you become president of Usa, people depict you when depicting the president in contemporary times. It used to be obama everywhere, and bush before him

Useless fan service tripe.

He fucking won

>helped people with money, including his own mother
>died
That sounds like a win-win situation to me

Thanks for confirming 's post.

Better than the original series

Proof that you can't do anything with this series anymore because the Death Note is invincible and Light lost only because of his megalomania. There are no writers smart enough to pull a decent story out of Death Note because there are too many ways to abuse it without any ripercussion.

>comes up with clever solution within the rules
>king Death is butthurt and changes the rules to fuck him over
wooww wtf is the point even

yeah its pretty cringe

Why does it have the korean webcomic character design?

>Have an actual priceless supernatural killing weapon
>sell it for money
This pussy deserves it.
Also the writing is pretty bad

that's a big apple

Dounardo Turampu/10

Won’t his plan fuck over japan economically after a while?

It was nice to see Ryuk again. The finale was disappointing but I think it was due to having a prearranged number of pages to work with, that's why they couldn't give it a more satisfying finale.
And I hope they stop milking it, the cow is dry.
I still want to see a OVA adaptation of this chapter through.

The auction was really fun and having contemporary surveillance incorporated into the canon while coming up with new strategies was refreshing, just enough for a one-shot premise.
However, the ending really sucked. Why would the Shinigami suddenly insert themselves into the politics of the Death Note? It really devaluates the scheming efforts of the human users and lowers the stakes of the game when the Shinigami can just intervene at any point and change the rules.

I'm sure Ohba could have come up with a more satisfying resolution for the protagonist, whether him dying or surviving.
Overall a fun read though, felt closer to classic Death Note than anything past volume 7 of the original run...

Not really? If an instathot got a million bucks from foreign simps, how would it hurt her country's economy?

Not at all.
It's essentially an external stimulus package coming from the US, they did that once with the Marshall plan. Because it's external the Japanese governemnt doesn't have to deal with inflated debt or a devaluated currency. Since there are few recipients when weighed against the total population, consumer products wouldn't get more expensive. It might exacerbate hosuing prices in the Tokyo area quite a bit, but that's a small price to pay.

Inflation in our capitalist society is usually caused by injecting money into the economy without having the work to back it up - this money has the USA to back it up, the only one in trouble would be USA. Prices wouldn't increase thanks to this, you have a small number of millionaires in Japan - let's assume that 500,000 persons opened an account on the Yotsuba bank, that's 20 million dollars per bank account, and about 0.003% of the japanese population. Not to mention that Minoru wasn't even interested in economy - he just wanted a way to get untraceable money, and he did. Which is why the shinigami god fucked him over.

>Why would the Shinigami suddenly insert themselves into the politics of the Death Note?
Simple, the reason why the kid was killed was because of the simple premise that is "those who use the death note will die". Though the kid never used the death note, he still used it to his advantage and managed to profit from it, which meant he pulled a fast one over the Shinigami king, which they didn't like. Light on the other hand, didn't exploit any loopholes. He used the power of the Death Note, as such, he was destined to be punished for it. He was just making the most of the time he had.

Why didn't he just give the Death Note to an apple farmer?

Kira reduced crime in the world.
A-Kira gave a boost to his country's economy.
What would a third Kira do? How can you further exploit the Death Note?
