The special mission club

After a huge earthquake Tokyo has been abandoned and its now flooded with irradiated ocean water. The buildings and infrastructure are all crumbling away as wildlife and vegetation retake the city scape.
For some unknown reason exposure to the radiation causes people to become insanely violent and murderous. The effects are significantly reduced or all together undeveloped in children under the age of 18. The government starts a program where all highschool students do disaster relief work trying to take the city back one section at a time.

Our characters are members of the special mission club which is a division of the student body who are trained by the JSDF and provide security for the other students as well as eliminating of groups of radiation effected raiders.

Guy is actually a mad scientist who takes inspiration from anime like Lain and Eva to do shit like experiment on human evolution, eventually he makes a digital copy of his brain and said copy, since it's immortal and has instant access to every piece of information on the internet, starts getting ideas about being God, while keeping the otaku play on so it could make references to Haruhi, episode 23 of Cowboy Bebop, Lain again, etc

Summoning daemons to control robotic weapons goes predictably wrong and devastates civilisation and forces the remnants of humanity to live on space stations. A small number of friendly robot daemons allow schoolgirls to pilot them to scavenge from the surface.
(They need pilots because daemons are retards, and boys would be gay.)

I liked this manga

The regular student body would be reoccurring sidr characters maintaining a small foothold in some.abandoned school. They would be showin using bulldozers and stuff like that clearing rubble and treating radiation effected insane people that are captured alive.

There would be a strong focus on highschool slice of life tropes as all the kids would still be doing their regular classes and their work would be treated like their club activities. The teachers would be video casted on a screen where the chalk board would normally be. And like of you got in trouble they would send a black hawk helicopter to pick you up and fly you to the principles office outside the containment zone

A boy falls in love with a girl.
Unable to confess, he is gifted with by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

Meanwhile the special mission club would be shown exploring the destroyed landscape of tokoyo with all the beautiful vista paintings and birds flying you would expect. One episode they would find a beach in the middle of shibuya with a giant billboard on the side of.a crumbling building showing palm trees and a bright yellow sun. They would do typical beach episode things

Instead of isekai to fantasy worlds, we have isekai to alien worlds.
