Boku no Hero Academia

How come the sales keep dropping after volume 21? Is the series over?

Because Hori stopped focusing on Deku and the other students. You can pretend all you like that villains were goat and the proheroes were kino, but fact is that they're killing the sales

Because despite the memes, nobody likes SoL crap. People want action.

While I agree the Villain arc was bad, I think what tanked the series was how Deku was, and the "O MY SEVEN QUIRKS!".
The series s 10 times better when we follow Hawks or Endeavor.

But, Yas Forums told me Deku was a cuck, Are you saying Japan likes cucks?

Lots of manga would have had the protagonist more competent by now but Hori is still dragging his feet with Deku. Stories that forget something as basic as focus and develop the main character are basically trash.

Yes? Bakucuck is the most popular character remember?

Seriously i can't find anything appeal about the League of Villains. They all act like try hard teenagers with "MUH SOCIETY FAULT", moving without any goal and concrete motivation.

Do you have source? Because latest volume still sold over 500k copies

>Are you saying Japan likes cucks?
Duh. Just look at all the isekai and harem shit that gets popular over there.

Shiggy isn't all that great a villain (muh nihilism) and not enough focus on Deku, or rather, Deku isn't really interesting as far as personality goes, nor does he really get developed, beyond uncovering his power. Most other characters don't feel like they have agency. They're just there to fill the scenery. Cut down the fucking cast and focus on those that remain. What about the hard and grueling screening process at UA that should have continued even after enrollment? Why not show what it means to get kicked from 1-A and have that character work his/her ass off to make it back into the top. Or simply have dropouts to show that hero life isn't for everyone?

>Is the series over?
normalfags are still flocking to the anime and the merch is making a killing
it's not going anywhere

It's selling like hotcake in the west so they are pretty much immune to cancellation at the moment.

Its a joke compared to kny sales though

Directionless trash.

kny will overtake it in the west soon enough

I'm not sure about that through. KnY is very Japanese compare to MHA capeshit. Like a lot of it concept can be lost on Western readers.

you have western numbers?

So like almost every other series?

Not every series is a shonen trying for a fujo audience
KnY directly embarrassed BnHA

Use your two brain cells and rub them together to figure it out.
Also this. The main spenders on this series only care about the students, or more specifically Bakugo, Todoroki, and Deku. Just look at every popularity poll and who gets the most merch.

Fujos are jumping ship
heh, ship.

>How come the sales keep dropping after volume 21
because it's shit

hori also admitted bakugo was both the most popular and the most hated character so the constant dicksucking probably alienated a bunch of people

Stop pretending to be retarded.

>tfw the author wanted to create a shounen that didn't fall into the Goku and Vegeta only trap.
>The fans demand the adventures of Goku and Vegeta only and sales tank when hori tries to focus on the rest of the cast

Feels like suffering.

Not really, last i saw KnY vol 1 was like at 10th place in US. Just making a guess. I could not be true but i still think the culture barrier could be a big obstacle

>>The fans demand the adventures of Goku and Vegeta only
They only want Bakugo
Nobody is asking for Deku stuff believe me

It's very rare for them to stick around. Most jump ship after 6 months-1.5 years. Even the most invested ones leave after 3 years. Shit like T+B is rare.

The ratings of the anime completely contradict your bullshit.

The problem is that MHA already got a pretty good cast to begin with in Deku classmates and the early parts give a decent focus on them. However the more the series go on they get more sidelined.

Neither MHA nor BC are getting cancelled
Accept it already

>believe me
why would anyone believe a neurotic sperg like you

Deku literally killed the sales
