I love Nao!
worst ending to an anime i've ever seen in my life, yes, even worse than the ending to bleach
I was amazed at how shitty it became. I don't even know if another cour would have helped, but at least it wouldn't have felt rushed.
I think the ed felt kinda rushed and forced.
youtube.com
Monster of the week was ok
Few episodes after that were great
Last 3 episodes are shit
I wish they had animated the scene where they went to Yusarin's concert.
>I don't even know if another cour would have helped
It would have but the ending would still be shit
At least Nao's bullying would get explained and maybe even resolved if we're lucky, the depression arc would last more than 1 episode, the guys wouldn't just "guess" the sister was gonna get killed and go in the school to save her even after he took her power, there would actually be a timeline where she gets killed by the yandere without her power and MC has to time leap again, as i'm sure was originally intended but scrapped because single cour
But the ending would still be shit that doesn't resolve anything, you don't give your protagonist fucking time travel if can't make it work in the end and have to find stupid shit to get rid of it. At least make up some bullshit rule like Steins;Gate did, it's better than nothing, but don't fucking do what Charlotte did.
>At least Nao's bullying would get explained
It never was bullying though.
Another cour wouldn't change anything because the ending was pretty much closed.
The show should have been longer from the start.
(Too) ambitious, not especially well thought out, a serviceable idea and decent designs but would probably need a complete rewrite to be anywhere near good.
Actually lemme go full autismo and clarify this As student president Nao is usually always out finding people with abilities and usually has to revert to violence and making threats in order for them to stop using their abilities and join her school.
Meaning she has made a lot of enemies in the process, as in, pretty much nobody at the school, or at least in her class, likes her at all.
She very likely has threaten or beaten those girls up prior, meaning they were out there just seeking revenge.
Why else would they punch her saying, "this is for x?", right?
It also explains why she just took the beating and said it would be just troublesome to find them and beat them up, it as that would just end up being a vicious cycle at that point.
TLDR I don't think it was bullying but just revenge.
Maeda + PA should never work together again
That could be an explanation but it still hurts to see this plot line completely unaccounted for outside of the one scene where it happens.
Yeah I agree with ya, especially since Nao is my waifu I would have loved to have known more about the scene, and also more about her past prior to meeting Yuu.
Although I'm reading the manga's right now and they do contain scenes that didn't make it in the anime, so I'm low-key hoping there's some explanation happening in them but I won't know for a while because vol 4 is stuck in Corona shipment hell.
Actually, maybe the in-character commentary would sheds some light on it, or Charlotte radio. But I haven't gotten to listing to either of them yet.
There are Charlotte mangas?? Nice.
Thought something like that would have been cancelled after the ending was so generally disliked.
Even the angel beats VN's never exceeded chapter one, and that franchise was much more popular.
>There are Charlotte mangas?? Nice.
Speaking of, this literately just arrived.
>Thought something like that would have been cancelled after the ending was so generally disliked.
Actually, volume 6, the last, one got printed in 2019
Thanks for the news, user! I guess I never bothered to look if there was more to Charlotte because I was still disappointed about the angel beats VN letdown. Chapter one was even really good.
Going to check them out right now.
The anime would have been better if it was revolving around the main cast in a episodic format. With this kind of setting, they could easily associate a power with a small parable.
wanabe Harli, so no.
>anime ending
>bleach
Absolute shit taste ITT, really sad to witness
fyi, there are no actual scans of the other volumes other than kindle raws from volume 1.
Also if you're curious about the manga
There's a pool chapter which shows characters in their swimsuits Nao looks fucking adorable again in ponytail
There is not torture scene of Nao in the manga either, it's the same as in the anime except the only extra thing is that you seen them carrying her away. There's also no scene of where they break into her room
In volume 5, during his depression, he's about to punch Nao in the face but remembers the scene of the girls punching her, was this in the anime as well? I kinda forgot
The rest of vol 6 follows the anime, down to the ending. There's an extra epilogue where they are sitting outside and Nao makes Yuu listen to ZHIEND. The manga ends with her resting her head on his shoulder.
Also her saying あなたの愛人です is fucking adorable in the manga as well.
Another fun fact is that Nao her breasts are actually smaller in the manga than in the anime
God, I love her so much
Was it good????
Don't pretend you liked Charlotte's ending user, we all know you didn't. We all know you facepalmed when the guy didn't just go back in time because the bad fucks were like "yeah we had that shit planned for a long ass time and if everything doesn't go as planned we'll know you time traveled, ability we learned about literally 5 minutes ago". Seriously user, stop deluding yourself. The show being good makes it having a shit ending even worse.
Even DITF's ending, as rushed as it was, was more ok than this.
No
Yes
>her breasts are actually smaller in the manga than in the anime
The anime really fucked things up, didn't it.
yes I rather see her with small breasts desu
i just finished little busters, should i watch this one?
im in a tear-bait anime binge this days
i watched anohana, angel beats and little busters
Not really a tear bait at all, watch Clannad/after story or i want to eat your pancreas if you want a real tear jerker
im not watching clannad. i want a tear bait anime not something that will actualy hurt me
>not something that will actualy hurt me
That's the best part of it. Don't you like being depressed for 3 days after finishing something?
I would recommend basically any key related anime to you, but I'm a huge keyfaggot so my opinion may be a bit biased.
Even so, watch angel beats, clannad, kanon, air and rewrite.
They are good.
Charlotte, not angel beats.
I am still mystified by what the terrorists' plan was...non-fatally stab this guy, and then what?
