What is the optimal length for a manga?
Did someone call?
1 chapter
1 chapter
No chapters.
no chapters
>not reading 20 chapter manga
fuck off you casual
You do realize chapter numbers is based on whether it was weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, etc. right? Hell, some manga even combine their chapters. You really only have any sort of point if you measure by volumes.
>quarterly
Do mangakas really???
100 chapters
I'm reading at least one like that.
yes, I know there's at least one Josei magazine that has that publication frequency.
name?
800 single page chapters
what did he mean by this
Yes
Saihate no Solte.

>look up the manga author
>they were getting sick near the end

What's so bad about author telling the story he wanted to tell without wasting your time and prolonging things for no reason?
That goes against american culture, that's why if a tv show doesn't go on for at least 5 seasons it's considered a complete failure not worth watching
Yes, it's rare but I should have included bimonthly as well since there's a lot more of those. Keep in mind people who are in genres that can't sustain weekly magazines are more likely to be working on multiple series at any one time. Weekly mangaka also all used to appear in multiple magazines at one time but the market doesn't allow that nowadays.
>Fawlty Towers would be considered a failure
4+6volumes but it doesn't really matter, whatever fits the series itself is the optimal length for that series.
I would post agni face here if i could
Absolutely kino
