Only a million this week, man corona is taking a toll

Why are they buying it? I thought One Piece fandom had control over everything yet this little series managed to become bigger than once piece ever was or will be. Its so crazy. I'm just trying to understand what is going on in nips minds.

>Kimetsu no Yaiba Who's the target audience really?
Ian Martin
>beating the all time yearly sales record in april This is honestly amazing, good job wani
Jaxon Taylor
At this point, it can be summed up as "literate people"
Connor Howard
40-60 year old women according to statistics. Doesn't make any sense.

I think the biggest selling point is that it’s a solid good time, it’s coming to an end and it has an anime attached to it with a movie coming out in October, it’s a prime time to get attached to it because even with the Manga ending more of what you enjoy is coming
Cameron Russell
>hero tenth place But I thought the chocolate bunny was going to save the manga? Are you telling me the coomers were wrong?
Michael Cook
Everyone in Japan

OP is kinda boring now so i understand why that dropped but KnY is pretty generic so its easy to understand it has a larger audience. look at SAO its generic trash but its popular as shit because of the anime. kny is no different its demon killing and saving your sister nothing really deep to it, simple concept easy for a large audience to pick up and appreciate. doesn't make it good though capeshit is popular here in the west but is copy paste shit with nothing unique about it just like KnY
its shounen so young boys

>managed to become bigger than once piece ever was or will be. not really at least in a long run. but this is phenomenal sales nonetheless. op biggest problem is now it's too long for its own good.
Levi Edwards
>shonen manga >published in shonen jump >with boys as the main characters Honestly no idea user it's a complete mystery.
Aiden Ramirez
How will One Piece fans recover? Sales is their only bragging point since the writing is terrible.
Its sales have been declining every volume since 21, even with an anime and movie. There's no saving it now

Here we go again

Nigga, they're just buying something they like to read. You really think they're only buying in an attempt to break some record? Maybe an autist like you would.
Charles Brown
I know threads like these are full of series wars and false flagging, but as a huge fan of One Piece and a fan of Demon Slayer, I wanted to give congrats to Goutoge and the Kimetsu series for accomplishing something amazing.
It's a shonen that focuses on the action. There more chapters during battles than anything else. 200 chapters with more than half of that on fighting
William Fisher
It's easy, they liked the anime, went for the source materials, loved it and it's only 19 volumes, they don't need to much time to catch up and the price is resonnable, you only need aroud 10,000 yen to get all the volume
Jayden Bailey
not a OP fag but KnY hasnt beat the overall sales of OP yet has it? why does this matter?
Christopher Smith
Middle-aged female shotacon?
Grayson Collins
It is actually.
