They become more obvious in hindsight.

Aren't they both single in the end of the second season?

Hmmmmph.

There's no fucking "incest" in the episode you stupid fucking moron. Jesus christ, how do people like you even remember to breathe.

02 was a mistake, especially that aborted SPooKy OCeAn plotline.

Id like to know this too.

The incest tones is supposed to come from Hikari to Taichi in a one-sided way. There's supposed to be nothing from Taichi's side.

Hikari playing the role of the worried wife in this scenario. That interview points that out.

you best start believing

I didn't recognize the incest undertones as a kid, but this episode was one of my favorites. Is the remake going the same route?

Damm. How the fuck he got away with this?

This shit was verified on the same thread it came up. People trying to say it's fake are just seething Taikarifags.

Same. Even as a kid I felt it was way different from the other ones, something like a dream sequence.

Your dumb asses get schooled together with multiple medi

This guy also made Wolf Children, so you can already see that he's pretty fucked up

Why is she always so creepy?

Based Hosoda.

In Adventure '99, she was always a sickly and meek kid. When she eventually got to the digital world, she had supernatural traits beyond her digivice and crest. 02 expanded upon this and mentioned that throughout her life she was haunted by Dagomon's calls. The only thing keeping those dark forces at bay as a kid was her brother.

Adventure 2020 will probably also have something to explain why Hikari is rather odd and knew about Taichi's exploits that helped eliviate the virus in Tokyo.

99 is so good. 2020 wont capture the feel of it

We NEED crazy people.

How was Wolf children fcked up.

The sex scene with the werewolf, While him was on his WOLF FORM.

Can't blame a girl for wanting the knot.

I love her face in this.
She seemed to despise him for suggesting that she dont need her oni-chan.

Just re watched that episode and when she only took a nibble of the omelet then gave it to them made my stomach sink a little

Episode 21 of Adventure is legitimately amazing. Any work Hosoda did on Digimon Adventure was incredible. Like you start with the original movie (yes, it is a movie since it was at the Toei Anime Fair in a theater and is classified as a movie by them. An OVA would have been released straight to video) and the series itself seems like a reimagining. After all, Taichi debuted in V-Tamer like 5 months prior and it had a totally different continuity, and it's not like TV Taichi recognizes Koromon/Agumon/Greymon or brings up any of the events. He never mentions having a sister. The first real callback you get is in episode 18 when Bolero plays in his dream sequence. But then episode 21 hits and it's a completely different beast to the prior 20 episodes. Hikari is there, Bolero is playing, real dates are used, the animation is good, the storyboarding is great. All of this was tied together.

Our War Game was also fantastic, but I think that the first movie was at the very top of animated productions.

Our War Game is better than Summer Wars change my mind.
