Hey guys, hope you enjoyed this chapter. Anyway, just thought I'd mention something I've been thinking about, get your input on it. With the whole coronavirus situation, it's been tough to manage doing so many things by myself, as I do this on top of working a full time job with overtime. I usually translate right after work and before I go to sleep, but sometimes there's just not enough time for me to complete the chapter at the quality I set my standards to. I've been wanting some extra help, someone to be able to spitball with, that sort of thing.
We've also been dealing with the issue of not having a redrawer who's both competent and available, which bogs us down on the editing side, especially when chapters have tons of those small bits of text we have to remove and replace. My editor mentioned we could release it under his scan group to solve both issues. I'd be able to get the Japanese raws a bit earlier than I currently do, and I'd have access to more manpower than I do right now. This would obviously help me a ton, and reduce all the stress involved in getting out a weekly chapter at the quality I want. I mean, the reason I started translating kanokari was because I wanted to save the series from getting a subpar translation at a glacial pace. I wanted people to be able to experience it the way a Japanese reader would, as much as possible at least.
And I know there's been some desire for us to go back and do some of the old chapters. More hands could mean the ability to go back over the old chapters eventually, and re-do some of them, so new readers will have a better experience than they currently do reading through the whole thing.

So what are you trying to say here?
I'm sorry but I kinda miss your point.
If you're asking us if you should release under your editor's group then that's your call. As long as we get reasonably fast and quality translations it doesn't matter I suppose.
And with the current pandemic it's reasonable to expect delays.
Hell I wouldn't mind if you guys do a day or 2 days late releases as long as the quality is high.
The problem with previous groups(coughJetYaucough) is that they took forever to put scans out(and at one time intentionally delayed them) just to put shitty memes in and localize the hell out of the series by rewriting it a lot.
So if you're implying you want to take time with your releases due to circumstances then go ahead, I'd just like it if you guys had a twitter or something so I can look it up for updates.
If you're asking here for more help I'm not sure anyone who browses these threads have the skill to help you unfortunately.
I would advise asking for help in one of the traditional forums like Animesuki or something you might have more luck there.
But if you're not able to get any extra help then delayed releases are acceptable.
