This shit deserves to bomb

Put your trip on MKL

I watched a live idol performance where she's singing along with someone else who blows her out of the water. She sounded off-key. Maybe it was just a bad time, but I imagine her range can't be that impressive.

Eizouken became popular despite having character designs that were rather ugly. BanG Dream is completely CGI now and yet it's huge.

It's not good.

The concept, story, and characters are so generic that even a burger can tell it's stale garbage

I can tell you why I didn't pick it up - there was a dude in the key visual.

As in live or a video of it?

No, no, that's Yuuki Aoi.

There is a difference between an ugly character design and a well designed ugly character.

BanG Dream has waifu power.

>muh popularity
Fuck off back to Yas Forums, it's great

Jin's music is boring and they completely dropped the ball on incorporating the real life music references in an interesting way

It's not spectacular so far but it's good enough. Plenty of time for it to kick into gear.

For a show about music, the music is too obscure for normalfags to care, but too mainstream for people who actually care about music to take seriously.
Also the mecha not only looks hideous but it's CGI animation, bad CGI animation to boot.
Also the way it executes references to music/pop culture into the story feels like something a 16 year old who sniffs their own farts would write.

Oddly enough even in the West it doesn't seem to be popular despite the show pretty much being made for it.

Oddly enough the big shows in Japan and west are pretty much the same every season

No one accept Gundamfags care abut mechs. The creators are stuck in the past.

It really shouldn't have been mecha.

so she really can't sing

Video of it. Quality was pretty good. I imagine it was an official rip.

Not always. Carole and Tuesday was popular in the West but not in Japan. Idolish7 is big in Japan but not so much in the West.

I see what they are going for but it just feels so disingenuous.

Would it be more popular if the character designs were more moe?

>made for the west
I sure hope not. It would be a pretty big fuck up to think that the west enjoys mecha anime, especially lazy CG mecha anime.

They liked Franxx a lot

the main girl is pretty cute so whatever

Idolshit it always less popular in the west because the anime are a sideshow to the rest of the idolshit milking that westerners can't participate in, and C&T wasn't that popular

And for what reasons? The Trigger name, waifu wars and shipping shit, not the merch for sure.

>C&T wasn't that popular
It was in America, it was shilled everywhere and sites kept talking about it

Because everyone has already seen Eureka Seven and the first episode was just a worse version of that so everyone got turned off

Yeah and the shilling didn't actually work.
