What kept you reading and why was it Sniper Mask?

That's absolutely true and the mangaka realized it halfway through, leading to Sniper Mask becoming a main character. Ending reeks of AXED though, unless the author had no idea how to continue and just decided to end it. 5/10 manga, Sniper Mask and some of the friendly masks carried it. Protagonist siblings were kinda lame and MILF mask was irrelevant by the end. That fucking scanlator censoring though.
