4 is bad but mostly just because it's kinda dull and forgettable. It's not particularly offensive in any way. 5 is just an absolute mess, the plot is all over the place, Jack has been flanderised to the point of no return, they have no idea what to do with Barbossa anymore, there are no decent sword fights, the villain is really one dimensional (almost literally, he's a ghost) and lame, they got this great actor and gave him such a shit part with bad dialogue and a really corny motivation.
