Kill yourself, narutard.

You are the most based poster around here

Like honestly Itachi's character was soo much better to me when he was evil. He made sense. But the whole killing your whole family to prevent a war thing I don't like. Also that he " infiltrated" the Akatsuki. NO he didn't he basically helped them catch a couple bijuu. How is that helping the Leaf? He didn't tell the village akatsuki's movements or nothing. So what was the point? They made Itachi good basically to keep Sasuke evil. If Itachi was evil through and through then after Sasuke beat him he woulda returned to Konoha.

yep

Fuck Kishimoto.

Based

You're not wrong.

We don't need more nurutu threads. Fuck off

wrong

Hahaha

obitto was blackmailing him

With what? And why wouldn't Itachi just kill him if that was the case? Save for Nagato, Itachi could defeat all Akatsuki members

Haha...

>hehe edgy better
the state of narutoids

>why wouldn't Itachi just kill him if that was the case?
Because Itachi is weaker than Obito you retard

Based

>Itachi is weaker than Obito

I wish, since I hate kishimoto's favorite plot device, but no.

naruto has become a global cultural icon

Shisui s eye is a thing.

I'm just recently catching up on Naruto (the manga). Itachi's death was THE best moment in the series for me. For it to get mitigated just... didn't work for me. Until all the revivals I was really enjoying myself.

Subverting expectations was shit in this case, faggot. Itachi killed his entire family and even lover he knew wanted to marry him instead of even attempting of just crippling the coup members while blaming them instead of the ones also unjustly making them feel like outcasts.

Being a power obsessed nutjob that only spared and cruelly manipulated his now traumatized little brother to groom his own replacement eyes for EMS unironically made far more sense. In the original flashback scenes where he gets accused of murdering his best friend, he talked like a future supervillain who only cared about his own improvement and spat on collectives like a clan.

I really liked his portrayal in the Valley of the End flashback, the way the Sharingan mechanisms influenced his views on earthly bonds and "ascendance", how he saw Uchiha pride as paradoxical with being an Uchiha itself

Way more philosophically interesting than "he did bad.... for good..." which still doesn't make sense after a bagillion retcons

Danzo was going to have root kill them so if Itachi killed them they'd die as victims rather than the criminal terrorists that they were.

The whole Uchiha shit was just badly handled, in general. The whole clan should never have been killed off, because it deprived us of any real stakes beyond Team 7 when Sasuke fled the Leaf. Think about how much more impactful Sasuke's story would be if he'd been an orphan who was also the only fighting age male Uchiha in Konoha as opposed to the last Uchiha, period.
We'd have seen him struggle under the weight of expectations placed on his shoulders by not only Konoha, but also the Uchiha survivors. We could have been introduced to a cast of survivors; Aunts, uncles, cousins, some very old, some really young, most incapable of using the Sharingan for various reasons, all looking at Sasuke to be their redemption.
Think about how much of a gut punch it would have been to see him "die" in the Land of Waves arc then. Every scene where Sasuke fights for his life would have been filled with so much tension. And it'd have made his "Avenger" arc so much more interesting, as he wrestled with the morality of avenging his parents vs. his obligations to the survivors who took care of him, trained him, tried to give him a family again.

I could go on, but at some point it'd just devolve into full blown fanfiction. Point is, Kishi deprived everyone of a much better Uchiha story when he made the utterly retarded decision to make Sasuke Konohas last Uchiha.

Sorry but nothings come out since then thats had such an engaging world besides One Piece. Don't be mad at Naruto, be mad at everything else thats come out since then thats failed to be as entertaining to discuss.

seething

Look, lets stop pretending Itcahi being a double agent was anything other than one of the biggest, last minute retcons in fiction, one that the writer had to spend tens of chapters trying to justify. And it still starts to come apart when faced with even the most passive of scrutiny

>Itachi was weaker than Obito
Thats laughable considering his Susano'o had a "fuck you I win" button as one of its default means of offence. You mean to tell me Obito would somehow have been immune to an ethereal blade sucks in anything it makes contact with into a pocket universe, simply by going intangible? And lets not forget Izanagi and Izanami. Itachi could have killed Obito at any time he wanted with an arsenal like that

It really isn't. I and many others called him being a double agent before the timeskip, the way he acted before he went evil and his justification of the slaughter didn't add up.
