As stupid and illogical as Fairy Tail may be, it's one of the first manga I became obsessed with, and will always hold a place in my heart.

People will deflect any and all criticism by going 'i-it's just shounen bro of course it's stupid' or other lackluster defenses though so don't expect anyone to give you a fair judgment of the series.
If you like the beginning arcs then keep reading it, just know that while it doesn't get Naruto or Bleach levels of stupid, after Tenrou Island it does get quite dumb.

It is a light and fun read. If you need a break from denser stuff this might just do the job. I’ll just say right away the plot is pretty lacking if that sort of thing bothers you.
