He won in my heart!
He tried to become God instead of just accepting a victory without recognition.
>Got baited by L like a fucking child
>complete moron with superiority complex
Mikami didn't follow his orders to lie low.
Incompetent follower.
Arrogance made him continue to use the notebook even as authorities were closing in.
Took a good 14 panels to realize what was going on here
Meme serial killer psycology. He wanted to be found
This.
Too much pride.
Asspull.
He killed Lind L. Taylor.
>form modus operandi to pull off the operation
>immediately abandon it to kill a cop taunting you
>cops send investigators to tail all suspects
>kill the guy tailing on you
THIS.
DELET LAST EPISODE FAGGOTS. IT NEVER HAPPENED.
He was actually retarded the whole time
THIS
Because purely by chance it didn't go according to keikaku like it usually does, also purely by chance.
t.n.: "keikaku" means "plan".
He didn't lose, he beat L. Everything after that is non-canon because it's retarded

If you shitpost on Yas Forums and rustle people's jimmies some autist will find a way to find you based on your posting style. Now imagine doing something that actually matters like being a serial killer who can target anyone and everyone
1. Put himself in the open because he couldn't stand the idea of someone being smarter than him
2. Kept killing anyone that didn't think of him as a literal god because of his inferiority complex. L likely would have likely not gotten very far at all if Light never killed Lind
/thread
He got unlucky. And got way too prideful.
>L likely would have likely not gotten very far at all if Light never killed Lind
I doubt that. He knew the killer had access to insider Japanese Police information, that narrows it down just as much if not more than the Lind L Taylor stuff would
Wrong, L won because he had always intended Mello and Near to take his place and had a system setup where they would take over the investigation if he died. L getting to the point where Light was positioned in a way that would make him obviously Kira in case of L dying was always his backup intention.
Yeah but you can argue if Light never killed Lind, L probably would've been less suspicious of how Kira was able to kill people.
