Keroro gunso deserved to die because it was made by Mine Yoshizaki, the monster who ordered Kadokawa that they fire Tatsuki for doing work he does not approve regarding Kemono Friends.
I'm pretty sure the problem here was that they actually wanted to air the dub on tv. They couldn't find anyone wanting to air it, so just released what they had dubbed and gave up since the sales didn't blow up.
The anime lasted for 7 years with 350+ episodes. It died due to Bandai toning down their sponsorship (and eventually outright removing it) in the final year since they started attempting to push Gundam for children directly rather than using "Keropla" as an entry point.
>arguably It's way better. The anime was a bastardized kiddie version of the manga to begin with and the dub at least moved the targeted audience back to teens.
