Clearly beserk

Why does Yas Forums have so many hard shounen lovers now? Berserk is edgy garbage.

Berserk.

Steel ball run is no better than the other parts.
I just started reading berserk and it's pretty good. Kinda edgy but at least there's no constant explanation of what's happening.
Araki goes over the race one too many times.

Steel Ball Run

Steel Ball Run:
-Intelligent
-Great messages
-Great fights
-One of the best antagonist of manga
-Best part
-Finished
Berserk:
-Cool art
-Start good it doesn't even end bad, it just keep getting worse
-Moe and shitty houmour
-Puck
-Some of the best arcs of manga
-GAY

Found the edgy 12 year olds

31 years old. Nice try.
Araki has great moments of character development like the race through the lake/river
but does absolutely nothing with it in the later chapters.

SBR is good but it's like watching Disney LA or Turn A Gundam. If you don't know the subtle references to past Jojo lore, it's just a really fun, wacky race adventure.

>One of the best antagonist of manga
That's Griffith

He's now a meme, not even a good antagonist, just a good character.

>illiterate
What do you think "ONE OF" means?

SBR is better but dude jojo is gay af and its great

Griffith is one of the best, Valentine is not.

Fuck off with this meme, the most "gay" looking part was 5 and it sucked ass. Machomen fighting vampires is extremely masculine.

I really don't get why people jerk off to Valentine.
Diego was more memorable than him.

>201866100
Look at this faggot and laugh.

SBR would still be the same if you erased diego from the story. Diofags are insufferable.

He was the ultimate chad looking for the greater good.

Tasteless

Valentine is the greatest villain I've come across in fiction. No one quite compares to the nuance or thematic relevance that Valentine holds. Valentine serves to exist as the antithesis of Johnny. Both are selfish individuals who are vying to utilize the corpse parts to further their own power. However, Valentine's selfishness is the most selfless. Instead of merely wishing to use the power on himself, Valentine wants to further the goals of the US and bring the ultimate prosperity to its people. And thus a moral dilemma arises: is this truly just? Depending on your own political and philosophical views, the answer to the question might differ. But when perceived through the lens of Valentine, it's not even a legitimate question.

Valentine's father was tortured in the war in a desperate attempt by enemy soldiers to discover the military strategy of the US army. His father, through the use of Funny's napkin as a moral support, refrained from divulging these details. Funny's father died not only to protect his country, but to protect the individuals who inhabit his country, and the individuals he fights to protect under the flag of the USA. Most importantly, his family. These ideals of patriotism are cemented into Valentine because of this. He rises high enough to become President of the USA, and protect the country that his father died to save.

Yes, that's right, President of America. A moral duty to America. Valentine discovered the existence of the corpse parts, and decided to take the napkin first. The napkin, of course, is a symbol of authority and patriotism towards your country. Should Valentine have kept the corpse parts hidden, because they were too dangerous to use? No, because someone would have eventually discovered them after his death. Wars would be waged and lives would be lost. And this is where Valentine's character truly shines.

Valentine knows what war feels like. He's been tortured. He knows what its like to be without a father. Now, as president of the country, he has an opportunity to ensure that there's no more wars and bloodshed for America. No more little boys with no fathers to watch them grow. No more prisoners of war. As president, Valentine would be betraying his people if he gave up this opportunity, and betraying himself. Because love in your country and the people who live in it is a sole nobility of humanity, and giving up this notion would be eradicating the symbol of Valentine, and the whole purpose of his existence. Valentine's identity would collapse, and he would have to live with the feeling that he betrayed his people.

Wherever there is a vehicle for power, there is conflict. Through removing this vehicle (the corpse parts), Valentine ensures that America will remain the #1 world power, and that someone who vies to use it for completely selfish means (Johnny) will never obtain it. Through the manufacture of the SBR, he reduces the number of casualties to the absolute minimum, while adding trillions of dollars to the nation's economy, and without disrupting the lives of the average citizens and sending their fathers, sons, and brothers off to war. Valentine is by far the noblest character in SBR.

Valentine is not completely good, and not completely evil. He's truly morally grey, a victim of circumstance. To call Valentine evil would to be an injustice.

Pucci was better than Valentine

Too bad in his shining moment he was nothing more than a hypocrite who shouted buzzwords to avoid death.

not memeing. If you think masc men can't be gay you are ignorant. Also "lookst gay"? You forget there are 2 gay couples in part 5 or?

>everything thats edgy is bad

They are generic villains.

If you had put gay on first, I wouldn't have wasted my time for reading your pointless points, you dick sucker.

>masc men
back to tumblr you go

Cause western men have brain rot and have a hard on for characters with hyper masculinity. Also big sword go KLANG

you don't get out much do you
