People sometimes upload movie clips and change it to 60FPS, and it makes it feel like some cheap soap opera shot on a guy's camcorder or something.

The movement is too smooth (which works with fights but not much else). Great for porn though

it's nothing to do with it being 60fps. it's the fact they take the original lower-fps video and use software to generate and insert extra frames between the original ones, which makes it blurry eye-cancer bullshit. if someone actually made REAL 60fps anime it would take a SHITLOAD of extra effort, but it'd look great.

I even downloaded and used SVP for a while because of Yas Forums. Wasn't too bad, problem was with the artifacts which was really dependent on the show and the scene.
For example, for some reason it didn't work with Nichijou in the slightest. Hardly a single scene didn't go crazy with artifacts. But most anime it works fine, only times it really begins to mess up is highly animated scenes with small details. And yeah, the average anime is anything but a sakugafest. Kinda have to just go with trial and error for what it works with and what it doesn't. Also it takes a bit for your eyes and brain to get used to it, but that goes for all 60fps.
Anyway, I had to kinda downgrade computers around 2014 and that caused me to stop using it completely.

Sometimes I consider using it again just to get rid of the godawful panning shots that anime has, but it's not really worth the effort.
