The second panel really triggers me. Why is his hand perfectly in the middle? It should be on the left, or his right. That's not how a person pointing his finger in front oh him looks.

anything HiatusXHiatus related is going to do the job, but the most effective cringe comes from their fanbse.
Why do people get so bothered by a champion of humanity threatening the ally of the greatest evil ever faced by humanity: the chimera ants? He knew what button to press, and it worked. Yeah the girl was precious darling who completely innocent, but she was still an important "asset" the chimera ants.

I never understood how Togashi thought it was a good idea to incorporate things from our world into his, it makes very little sense.
Togashi is very bad at world building.
kek ! saved.
To do otherwise would require to create civilization from scratch. Or do you arbitrarily draw the line at technology, saying that cars and guns and other such inventions from our world are A-OK? I mean even the geography of their world is based on ours (at least pre-Dark Continent). Have you never looked at a HxH map?
Besides, would it really have made such a difference instead of, say, Hegel he’d written “famous philosopher Hagel” or some such dumb substitution? If anything that’d make it more awkward, like when the Nips have McDonalds called WcRonalds or something equally stupid in manga.
This wont ever make me not laugh, god damn
Having the same people with the same names writing the same philosophy in a completely different world is pretty stupid. Technology makes some sense since any sufficiently advanced civilizations could conceivably come up with the same inventions with slight differences as long as science works the same.

Every single fucking time.
Both are products of human thought, I don’t see why you’d expect much of a difference between the two. If anything philosophy is WAY more fundamental than technology since the latter is shaped considerably more by the environment. “I think therefore I am” would be something that you would expect ANY sentient species to arrive at whereas you would hardly expect a species living in the cold, lightless ocean under a dwarf planet’s permanent ice sheet to discover fire, much less related advances such as metallurgy.
> If anything philosophy is WAY more fundamental than technology
No, Science is universal, it's not a product of human thought, any possibly intelligent species regardless of their philosophy would still come up with the same equations, just with different symbols.
Even if philosophy was as fundamental'it's still pretty stupid that it's the same people that exist in our word. So is the Hunter world our's or not? it clearly isn't yet it has the same people? But then again what do you expect from an author who comes up with yorknew as the name for a location.
