Irrespective of the fact that this looks rather meh, I can understand that anybody would be proud of having the opportunity to work on some iconic franchise like Ghost in the Shell.

This GITS is not aimed at original anime and movie fans cause everyone of them will call this shit and will be right.
It's aimed at new kids who will never watch the originals but watched the live action movie with fat actress playing the lead and they heard Matrix creators liked GITS and that's all.

No other steaming service, studio or TV station has that power, but whenever something airs on Netflix people just can't stop themselves to mention Netflix and the fact that the show is on Netflix.
Often times they even act as if Netflix are the ones who made something that airs on Netflix even though Netflix is just streaming the show, that somebody who isn't Netflix made completely independently form Netflix, on their platform called Netflix.
