JoJo Part 3

How can people call Jotaro bland? Did they skip 95% of the part or are they just so low IQ that they fall for his obviously fake 2cool4school facade?

>I will kill him
>Just because he pissed me off

Good on you Jotaro

Yeah I’m sure that killing his grandfather and friends had nothing to do with it

Jojo Thread!

Jotaro is a misunderstood teenager. He call his mom a bitch because he was distancing himself from her when he thought his stand can be harmful. Despite his cool persona heis still very emotional, like in op's pic he rushed because his grandfather was in danger and Kakyoin had to stop him. The best thing describing his persona is the fact his favourite food is his mom's cooking, symbolising his love for family

He's still boring

Pleb

still better than Giorno

So did he end of part 6 invalidate everything that happened? The main guys essentially lost. Really ruined everything

Yes and no

That’s not a hard thing to be desu

There was this one page in the manga describing Jotaro, where it says that he doesn't like sharing his emotions, usually keeps to himself, likes his mom's cooking and all that stuff. But I don't think anything about that was said in the anime, and now anime-only people are crying that he's a bland character

Why does Jolyne having a different name now suddenly break her free of the ''Joestar family curse''? She still has the birthmark so ??? Also Hermes and Annasui's lives being completely different despite having no previous connection to Pucci. You could really tell Araki was completely fed up by this point and wanted any excuse to start from scratch.

Why did Jotaro become the way he did in in the start of part 3? Did it had anything to do with his father leaving for a year?

elaborate
what family curse?
because that’s how araki wrote his character

but jotaro was nothing like we saw him in the start of stardust crusaders, both suzi q and holly talked about how jotaro was a "sweet boy" and his childhood photos show him smiling so something should've happened

he’s just an edgy teenager, puberty happened. Stop pushing your shitty headcanon

The hero’s all technically die and that timeline is erased. The new one has vague implications that could mean parts still I-V happened the same way or differently with part VI being completely different

the universe just repeats itself, there are replacements for the characters killed by pucci. Nothing was invalidated or “ruined”

His father didn’t leave for a year, he was dead
Fatherless children tend to be delinquents during their teenage years

His father went on a music tour you dumbass

But Jotoro goes as far back as part 3, so if he was replaced wouldn’t those parts be changed?

Oh, my bad, I confused his father with Joseph’s
Just checked the wiki, it says that his father was constantly on tours and never home so the point still stands: boys without fathers become delinquents in their teenage years

no. everything that happened before the reset happened again in the new universe, did you even read the part

That's true to both Joseph and Caesar

The reset happened right after the group was killed but the events right before part 6 changed. Idk if I’m retarded

She isn't the jojo anymore. Holly had a birthmark too but didn't have an adventure, haha get it

what events are you referring to

Okay my understanding is that Pucci accelerates the universe to create one where everyone knows their fate and lives following it but he has to complete one cycle. Before he completes it he stops to a point where he can kill Emporio but he himself dies creating a new universe without Pucci. The way I was looking at it was that since Jolyne has a different name and such the timeline of events could have been different but now I’m understanding that Parts I-V take place in the Ireneverse as there’s no mention of Pucci prior to Part VI. So then the ending is essentially the good ending?

Yes

Jotaro is portrayed as a lot more stoic in Parts 4 and 6 so I think that a lot of people who only read Jojo once tend to rewrite their memories of Jotaro in Part 3 around his later appearances. Then people go online and complain about how Jotaro is emotionless, and the more people read comments like these the more the inaccuracy is reinforced.

Plus her name is Irine because she doesn’t need to be a JoJo since Pucci never existed
And she isn’t in jail because Jotaro, not having the need to chase after Pucci, stays at home and raises Irine to be a good girl and not a delinquent

this. in part 6 jotaro is as bland as giorno.
