Post manga that need more faithful adaptations
This one is weird for me to be honest, I'm sure some things would be better by staying faithful but the anime felt darker than the manga and honestly some of my favorite arcs were the filler arcs, I loved that Atlantis stuff and the virtual reality one was good too. I could never rewatch the anime because there was too much padding for time but otherwise it seemed fine.

All I want is for Millennium World to be faithfully adapted. I want it to even add shit Kaz had no time to expand on because he was working while being in the hospital.
With Digimon starting from scratch again, maybe YUGIOH will get the same thing. I just hope for an honest dubbing.
It's my life goal and dream to see the second half and especially the final volume of this animated. And I don't care if they touched the sequel because with little adjustments, the OG could work on its own.

i enjoyed the 4kids dub
finger guns and banishing people to the shadow realm was more memorable than what the nips originally aired
if they kept the japanese music, it would have been top tier material

Anime was pretty faithful for the most part apart from the filler it added, the content it adapted was close to the manga save for some major changes during the dungeon dice monster arc since the anime excluded everything about Duke's dad and made up a brainwashed Keith to be the guy that steals Yugi's puzzle and almost causes him to die in a fire.
