Blue is the colour of the warm summer sky, it invokes a relaxing feeling
Blue is calm, red is the color of anger. this is simply psychology, stinky.
>All I see are two different shades of gray
It's actually fifty, user.
that's deep yo
it's not red you fucking colorblind
Yas Forums actually inserted a massive ugly compression artifact in the blue part of the thumbnail. That must means something, right?
what the HECK is it then
The red reminds me more of this than asuka
that's fucking orange
you're an orange, you stink!
Based
If you want to go full autism it's actually #E44122, which is cinnabar
It will look quite orange if you have anomalous trichromacy though
looks more red than orange to me
Pantone swatches beg to differ.
Yeah okay, that's definitely a different color.
I just threw the Hex in this thing chir.ag
Can we stop with the color autism now? I was clearly out of my depth
Greenchads ww@
Red and orange are not two distinct colours. Both cover a whole spectrum and they tend to flow into each other.
If you want to got by very strict definitions, Every colour that is not pure red, but between a pure red (255,0,0 in RGB) and pure orange (255,255,0) is considered a tone of orange, as are all its shades, though darker shades of orange are usually considered brown.
Oh yeah where's this strict definition from?
Your ass?
>Oh yeah where's this strict definition from?
No, from offical naming schemes. Though I mistyped the values for pure orange. It's actually (255,165,0). What I accidently gave you was yellow.
Of course, values between yellow and pure orange also give you a very nice gradient that has colours that look very orange on one end. That's just how colours work. They are always on a spectrum.
"Can we stop with the (fill in the blank) autism now?"
Should be a Yas Forums banner. And no. Never.
Okay so let me get this straight.
did you say it looked orange to you because you're being a giant fucking nerd about a technicality?
Or are you just pulling technically correct arguments out of your ass OR A SOURCE, to defend a point that you really shouldn't care about, like an autist, e.g. me?
easy there Picasso I was merely pointing out that the colour more closely matched classic red. this ain't art school, if it looks pretty close to (255,0,0) then we should just call it red
I frankly don't care whether you call it red or orange. My argument is that while calling it orange would convey the message that it's a "mixed" colour better, what everyone needs to understand is that colours are generally not strictly defined and that there are infinitely many nuances that different people give different names to. Thus: As long as you call it red or orange, and not cyan or blue or something like that, there's nothing to argue about.
>if it looks pretty close to (255,0,0) then we should just call it red
I actually agree with that. The only problem is that different people define that closeness differently.
