Any real hunter worth the title should have been able to defeat him single-handedly. Yet everyone acted like it's this impossible feat... I didn't understand that at all.
He is only dangerous if he can touch you. But for a Nen user, that's no problem. Goreinu could have used his gorillas, Killua can use electricity and yo-yos, Hisoka can use his bungee gum. There is really no reason to be scared of this guy.
He's only a pushover if you already know about him, that's how he screwed over those players by acting all chummy and touching them before revealing who he was.
Sebastian Rivera
That's definitely true.. but once Gon and the gang started filling everyone in on his powers, that should have been the end of it. They had Tsezguerra, a single star hunter, his comrades, Biscuit, Goreinu, Hisoka etc.
Robert Ward
Remind you Leorio is a Hunter and I know you just started this, but you have yet to see so many hunters that are babies compared to Gensuru.
Wyatt Perez
People keep saying GI is the worst arc but I like this arc a lot.
He really did feel out of place. Before him was the Phantom Troupe, a notorious gang of criminals feared worldwide. Then after him came the Chimera Ants, a threat that devastated multiple countries. Then you have this guy who... blows up people inside a video game? It was hard to take him seriously, especially since Gon and Killua didn't either until the last act. Instead they focused on getting the cards and only confronted him because he was in the way of the last few cards.
Jackson Williams
He's probably comparable in power to some of the weaker members of the Spiders, aka still better than 90% of the hunters out there.
He's Kira Yoshikage but with nothing that makes him a good villain.
Samuel Harris
Imagine if Pitou entered Greed Island and tried to collect all the cards.
Razor would kick her ass in dodgeball
Nolan Peterson
I think Gon's selfishness and Killua's arrogance got the better of them.
Chase James
The guy was still a good enough hand to hand fighter with an explosive ability. All Gon and the gang did was remove the threat of countdown being spread to that many players again. Plus a lot of greed island players are shitters and the rest don't have a reason to go after Genthru and take on that risk.

Where's the thread
Camden Watson
Not only that, but he protects himself from his explosion with his own raw nen, anyone with more nen could just overpower him. His real game is his mystery killer bomb, but that doesn't really apply in 1v1.
Ayden Morgan
comfy hxh thread, let's see how long it'll last before false flagging redditors join in

Deleted, the one after auto-saged.

GI is like 90% meh and then 10% pure kino

Don't let Yas Forums's opinion dictate yours, user. You're free to unironically like whatever you like, and Yas Forums collectively hates almost everything, don't lose your individuality here.

Let me guess, the fights were the "kino" part
Andrew Thompson
The whole dodge ball was the most kino Then Gon vs Genthru Then Killua vs whoever Also kino kino kino kino deal with it fag
If that mental image of me just giving a fuck about the fight scenes fuel your hatred of humanity and boost your sentiment of superiority, then by all means, go ahead. All I will say is that just because I enjoy something more than the other, doesn't mean that I don't understand it.
Jace Flores
He is only harmless if you know about his powers, untill he activates it , there is no nen trace. And once it is activated , you can't cancel it unless you can cancel nen , something SUPER RARE. the reason gon can take him out is because they knew his power in particular. Not to mention that he need to explain his power to trigger countdown. He's powerfull AND dangerous but just far from the top-tier. any of the zodiack could have killed him , not to mention all the zoldick familly and servants.
Chase Green
I still don't get why 'generals' aren't allowed. Can someone please explain it to me?
The dodgeball match was the most iconic part of the Greed Island arc, and it was so intense it totally made me forget about the bomber. After they beat Razor, fighting Genthru seemed anti-climatic.
