A thought on Hollow's evolution compared to biological evolution based on a post someone made in the previous thread.

basic Hollow > bacteria
Gillian > protozoon
Adjuchas > higher animals
Vasto Lorde > humans

The point being that their intelligence increases together with their power, to the point where those at the top are basically almost just as sentient as humans

Yes, Aaroniero was a Gillian (though kinda a special case). The question is what about your regular BELOW Gillian Hollow?
Grimmjow was either highly evolved Adjuchas or VL before Arrancering.

Isshin? Why was Ryuken there? If all he needed to do was give Ishida an arrow just ask the mail man to do it.

An ishiin, rangiku, and toshiro reunion would be pretty interesting.

A lot of the Espada felt like they needed more screen time. Nnoitora felt like he could have a decent arc if he didn't get Zaraki'd, Grimmjow should have done a lot more in the last arc, Stark and Halibbel were kinda just disposed without much flair when they could have been kept. The fullbringers as a whole felt like a aborted arc, the Sternhitlers could use a lot more characterization. All in all, I think Kubo is a great designer and that makes me want to see more of his characters.

Maybe I'm talking out my ass, but I vagely remember that Aaroniero said that Aizen choose him as a Espada for his potential. That could mean that, probably, using hogyoku he could transform any hollow into an Arrancar, but it would probably be a waste of time. After all, aaroniego had the power of a shinigami captain and more inside and was still practically oneshoted by rukia

I assume it's too late for Tousen, but still.

Someone detailed the novel recently again and one of the passages in it has Nel pretty much getting into an argument with the villain for their motivations and during the exchange he tries to justify his actions by bringing up Ichigo and Nel pretty much tells him he's full of shit and not to drag Ichigo into this prompting one of the quincy to ask Grimmjow if Nel is ichigo's girlfriend to which Grimmjow remarks that Ichigo was with some human woman.

I dunno about others but I binged the manga after the anime announcement and Nel stood out to me the most. Her design and character speaks volumes

Why didn't Ichigo's mother go to Soul Society after she died?
