That whole scene in Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita were Watashi secretly discovers all her friends' bad sides, but then quickly comes to terms with the fact without any fanfare always felt like it really nailed her weird brand of maturity. Also a good follow-up to the breakdown in the previous episode, with her only real moment of weakness in the series. Definitely a good arc to end it on.

Is Medaka Box one of those manga where it’s only good when this character is around or is it good overall?

It fluctuates wildly between boring as fuck to dangerously fun and creative. On the plus side, it lacks the usual peak-decline dynamic you see in other series, so there's always something to look forward to, but it can drag.

Ikki doesn't count because he didn't become a 10/10, he was extremely based from start to finish.

Hows the manga compared to the anime? The anime was horseshit that I couldn't finish. And I do remember the anime changed some things from the manga that made me think "why the fuck would you do that?"
