Same, re-watched KLK last week since I watched it as it aired 7 years ago and it's still fucking great.

>Great voice acting
>Memorable and enjoyable cast
>Straightforward plot with decent handful of twists
It wasn't perfect (second half wasn't as engaging) but it was a very solid show. You could tell the staff really enjoyed working on it and I forget how much fun it was + how well it delivered to viewers. Ryuuko and Satsuki fighting in only 3 episodes in was a treat too.

This is kind of what I miss with anime in general, there haven't been many original shows in the last couple years that felt inventive and oozed with passion without being filled to the brim with annoying tropes and ending as a trainwreck. Space Dandy's the only other original anime show that aired afterwards that isn't like that.

This episode will always be one of my favourite episodes ever in anime. Satsuki and Ryuko finally coming together and understanding each other was the sweetest thing ever, and their double transformation at the end of the episode made me shit myself
