Had to take a 2 year break after watching the first few episodes but I more or less marathoned it after I my body accepted what I was in for.
It was extremely fucking retarded but I do think I ended up having some fun with it. Murata's designs helped a lot.
Never stopped wondering what they were thinking though.

This was a guilty pleasure for me. I liked the main cast and all the girls were cute but the it suffered from having a shitty adaptation that moved at breakneck speed that didn't offer a chance to flesh everything and a retarded antagonist
