Not him. Shaft's choice of styles are typically nicer(despite their shows ending up looking incomparably worse) but Kyoani are better in practically every other regard. Madoka and animator Gen'ichirou Abe aside, Shaft have always been 3rd rate cancer studio who butcher the works of good writers like Nisio Isin with their embarrassingly vapid and lifeless shitshows. Kyoani are the polar opposite with their pro consumer corporate philosophy and how they make gold out of mediocre or less than satisfactory source material.
