I'm guessing he wants the others to focus on/grow into their given roles, while he focuses on leading? He might give some results as their 9th too, but that's just a bonus.

It's the spinoff focusing on Goro's son Daigo.
Izumi's main purpose is fanservice.
After the time skip they added more girls.
No fanservice for the mother though.
