No. It's below average at the start, gets really fucking good at chapter 50 and stays that way for for about 200 chapters, then slightly drops in quality but is still good, then completely nosedives in the second to last arc (that's about where it lost its position in the big3) and then it gets better in the final arc where it sadly gets rushed to end.

It's a pretty good read, especially the last two arcs get better in quality when you binge them, they were a fucking drag to read weekly though

I really like the early chapters desu. Teen urban ghost hunting was comfy.

Most of the odd pacing is an editorial decision. One thing that got cut from the manga but made it into the anime was the Forest of Menos, but you don't have to worry about that until Hueco Mundo.

Not same user, but it went from a monster of the week with more individual character moments and goofy lively elements (didn't take itself too seriously) to a slightly more serious story when soul society arc hits with more world building and a mystery. Then it starts becoming a battle manga where its a battle every five fucking seconds with no breathing room for characters just to interact (well the anime kinda fixes this with the filler which does develop some less cared for characters.)

Bleach tried to go back a bit to more character focused story telling in fullbring (still didnt bring back its goofier aspects in the same way) and no one really liked it and then comes TYBW and its battles everyday again.
